I can hardly believe it when (supposed) geeks claim that laptops are on par with desktops. Where's my quad core laptop with 9TB of disk and dual 1920x1200 displays? How can anyone piddle around on some little laptop with a 15 or 17" screen and 500GB of disk and feel satisfied? I guess laptops are fine if you're computational demands end with twittering and myspacing and all of web 2.0 gayness. They sure don't cut it for me.
There was a time when I visited my favorite music store once per week. I typically spent $50-60 per visit on major label releases. When the lawsuits began my weekly buying sprees ended.
I'll never consume another major label product again, ever. I can thank the RIAA for opening my eyes to a world music that I hadn't known was out there. Thanks RIAA!
Compared to Bluray, upscaled DVD looks like crap on a big HD set and I have a VERY good upscaling player not some $30 crap. If you have an HDTV then get a Bluray player and join Netflix. It's the ONLY way to go. I've seen about 30 Bluray titles for $60 bucks.
I don't get this attachment to a specific unborn fetus. Ok, so maybe you have to abort one or two here or there. Where's the problem? Just have sex again. A woman has the potential to create 12 new fetus every year.
No one should be having more than two kids anyway. In fact, plenty of people should be self-limiting to one or none.
Grab the Tomato firmware for your Linksys. Tomato's QoS features are much easier to configure than others like DDWRT. With Tomato, you don't need to be a Linux networking guru to do what you want.
Tomato also handles P2P very well. You can pound a WRT54 running Tomato with heavy P2P traffic 24/7 for months with no perfmrance problems. No resets required.
