Interesting factoid! Please tell my which brand of cellphone I should buy that is so generous to its laborers, making the most commoditized electronic product in the world?
ROFL...yeah, you had that if you were willing to pay a shitload of money for it. The prices for online access were outrageous. Keep in mind AT&T had to do massive system upgrades to support the iPhone. Why? Because the internet on the cellphone up till that point was a fucking joke. Please don't try and deny it.
Whatever dude. If you can't see how Apple completely changed the cellphone industry and what people expect from phones, there's not hope for you. Enjoy your pos Zaurus.
"The company is now dedicated to monolithic Apple-style thinking"
They have ALWAYS been dedicated as such. Did you just start paying attention? In any event, this way of thinking has made them the most successful company in the world. And all companies are profit driven. It's how they stay in business, so I'd just get over it and move on with your life.
Actually, Consumer Reports is really just testing browser battery performance. All they've show is that if you're using Safari, you don't know what to expect for battery life. Chrome was fine.
Edge is irrelevant. Their using Kaby Lake's fancy new hardware decoding to get the job done. There's really no reason it couldn't be supported on any browser.
Agreed, Time Capsule is the bomb. Best backup and restore system ever invented. I can't believe that dealing with this on Windows is still such a huge fucking pain in the ass, and is one of the reasons I hate Windows. This should be considered basic functionality.
What you're saying makes no sense whatsoever. Congress passed the law, and the law only applies to Congress since they're the only relevant party (other than the President). Consequently, what would be the point of doing that if it has no value whatsoever (which is what you're arguing)?
You're right that the constitution doesn't dictate the number of justices but the Judiciary Act of 1969 does: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.... Consequently, it's not optional to have eight except for temporary purposes (like retiring judge). Again, it doesn't matter because the republicans will do whatever the fuck they want anyway.
1) there is no proof of the existence of dark matter.
2) Carrie Fisher is A LOT more than just Princess Leia. Maybe do some research?
Not to take anything away from Vera Rubin, but this not a zero-sum game.
Except they were up today.

Also, the iPhone had Wifi. Suck on that.
lol...you realize that the reason there's "always on internet" for cellphones is because of Apple, right?

It already has been a million times over but maybe you don't pay attention to tech news.
Except for an entirely underwhelming phone, I have a 5x.
Absolutely. Plus analysts are notoriously bad. Like, really, really bad. I don't trust anything they say without doing my own math.
Ugh...Anathem is garbage. I honestly don't understand how anyone could like it, and I've read most of his works.
+1 Grapes of Wrath is the shit.
Overrated trash with a go nowhere plot. But that's just my opinion.
You're right. The amount of pandering in that book is off the charts.
You're actually saying that Apple shouldn't have control over what they stock in their stores? WTF is wrong with you?
Seriously, the "courageous" meme is already super old. Try and be original.

I would argue Twitter is a charity since it's never made a single penny of profit in its entire existence.
Azure is a joke compared to AWS. It's not even in the same league. AWS is better in almost every way. Be serious.

Don't get me wrong...I hate their guts. I remember them during the Gates days.
No, Apple is the most hated now, by far. Lately, everyone's giving Microsoft a pass (for the most part).
