This is only the beggining. Now we can see all the problems quicker and faster. Once we build better web pages we can finaly start to fix some problems.
I'm happy owner of an Asus eee netoobk, What I'd like to see from future netbooks is long battery life (once you get spoiled 5 hours is not enough), and a more powerfull CPU (not that important but still).
Remind me of the old regime. Back in the days it was cheaper not to pay a fine. Due to inflation and slow bureaucracy by the time you get your final warning the fine was cheaper then the post stamp.
I know it's idealistic, still you don't have to take all the words so seriously.
I was just pointing out how tracking citizens is ok, while it's not ok to track politicians. Why? Isn't a democracy what gives us the right to control our politicians?
I don't judge the police, since they are just doing the job they are told to do.
Land lines are currently reliable & open. Mobile connections on the other hand have a lot of restrictions. If you can attach your wireless to land line, then you are good. But if you are forced to use Mobile ISP (GPRS, 3G,...) then you find out how close(firewall) and unreliable they systems are.
... probably they couldn't return from Sleep mode.
Simple solution?
I should remain anonymous on the Internet because I work for the wrong comapany?
You are kidding right?
According to EU this is a case of human rights violation.

But Starsky and Hutch never needed a warrant to solve a case.
And this is why I respect the EU. Finaly someone above the stupid local politicians bringing some sense in this world.
When the Internet was born I was there, hell I even saw his parents trying to connect us all.
We just need to bring everyone online.
Still it would be nice for a court to decide when you did the first one.

I hope the Internet era will put a stop to this type of politicans.
I can't wait to see how this thing blows in his face.
A girlfriend costs more then 13E a month.
One should be for Alliance players with Gnome Linux and the other an Undead WinXP.
Now that would start a holy war.
WoW 5: The year of Linux desktop (release date might be delayed)
I won't argue how you use your netbook since everyone is using it for different purposes.
I was just pointing out how our battery autonomy is more or less the same.
Don't start this silly arguing, your netbook has exactly the same battery, motheboard, cpu, ... as mine.
:)
They last 5h with wireless on and constant web work. 9h if you are sleeping on it.

Can this new netbooks deliver this?

Makes you wander how flexible the bureaucracy is.
Or use the taxes to balance. Let's say +10% on Intel chips and -10% on AMD.
We need a healthy competitions in order to push the prices down and promote the research.
Actually a friend of mine is just developing cheap GPS tools, so companies can see on google map all the cars locations.
Nah, they piss off so many people that they decide to do something, thus accelerating free file sharing.

You sir are a genius. Let's start to track down politician cars and update their locations real time to a web site.
And then let's see how long it takes for them to change the law.

Mobile ISP.
Then we have to stop the stupid law that allows the government to spy on us and record everything we do.
Don't blame the technology for all the government bullshit.
You don't understand how conservatively they are thinking.
Mod this man up.
