    I won't argue how you use your netbook since everyone is using it for different purposes.

    I was just pointing out how our battery autonomy is more or less the same.

    Don't start this silly arguing, your netbook has exactly the same battery, motheboard, cpu, ... as mine.

    They last 5h with wireless on and constant web work. 9h if you are sleeping on it. :)

    I'm happy owner of an Asus eee netoobk, What I'd like to see from future netbooks is long battery life (once you get spoiled 5 hours is not enough), and a more powerfull CPU (not that important but still).

    Can this new netbooks deliver this?

    Remind me of the old regime.
    Back in the days it was cheaper not to pay a fine. Due to inflation and slow bureaucracy by the time you get your final warning the fine was cheaper then the post stamp.

    Makes you wander how flexible the bureaucracy is.

    Or use the taxes to balance. Let's say +10% on Intel chips and -10% on AMD.

    We need a healthy competitions in order to push the prices down and promote the research.

    Actually a friend of mine is just developing cheap GPS tools, so companies can see on google map all the cars locations.

    I know it's idealistic, still you don't have to take all the words so seriously.

    I was just pointing out how tracking citizens is ok, while it's not ok to track politicians. Why? Isn't a democracy what gives us the right to control our politicians?

    I don't judge the police, since they are just doing the job they are told to do.

    Land lines are currently reliable & open. Mobile connections on the other hand have a lot of restrictions. If you can attach your wireless to land line, then you are good. But if you are forced to use Mobile ISP (GPRS, 3G, ...) then you find out how close(firewall) and unreliable they systems are.
