After a couple of the splash screens and d3 rumors i went out and bought the battle chest with d1 d2 lod and stupid strat guide. Best 30 dollars I've ever used to buy something that I had already owned at one point. My guess is the price for the chest will get bounced up since the d3 announcement.
IMO a degree shows nothing about what they have learned it shows they have the capability of learning. They could very quickly figure it out using the critical thinking skills they are supposed to have learned. They skip over some easier things in schools to try to get people to really learn to use critical thinking to figure out how to solve the problem in front of them.
That being said some numskulls don't learn the critical thinking skills and could not set up the printers;)
Your math is flawed. People work on the weekends too. Just because its not a "business day" doesn't mean people wouldn't be working on documents from home. given 365 days in a year it would be near 3 days.
I currently Run Vista at home. I don't Personally use UAC. However I have had it on before for a decent amount of time. It doesn't just randomly pop up. There are cases when a program will make it pop up when you are trying to run it. That is not Microsofts fault. Thats whom ever wrote the original programs fault. They required the program to need Admin access to run properly. The only other times I would see it was if I was installing or saving files. However I would like to say its not perfect BY ANY MEANS. (hence why I don't normally use it) One of the big problems I have with it is saving images. For instance you can't save into C:\program files\Whereever for an image. It will give you a permission denied error (No UAC message just a denied error) However if you save it to say your desktop you can then copy and paste it into C:\program files\whereever and get the UAC prompt. (Also if you are wondering why the heck Im trying to save images in program files its because a game where you can use your own sprites for images) Also a bug I've noticed from FF is it doesn't even give you that permission denied error it just appears as the image saved however there is no image in the folder that was selected.
The only experience I have of WUBI is a bad one. Granted the install of it went very well and worked. However since its on the same Partition as windows there will be some issues if ubuntu gets messed up.
I dont know if Im an only person this has happened to but this is my case.
I was doing updates when my PC lost power. For whatever god given reason it messed up the boot loader. So i figured okay no problem Ill just use Grub or something. However even when using grub It would no longer boot my windows partition. It was giving me errors because of the ubuntu install. Granted I was also doing this on Vista so XP might be different. But just sharing my story.
Yes because someones ability to keep a computer clean from stupid stuff is responsible for how long it takes to boot. Xp with teh same junk will take 5 years to load. The point is vista loads fast on a good computer that is kept clean from junk. There is a thing called msconfig, try using it failure.
Okay faggot since you must be a retard if you cant use youtube correctly I will link you one. Faggot retard faggot. My god your iq must be lower than a fucking retard
FYI retard go to youtube and search vista quick boot time and you will see people with REAL computers booting vista most are 30 seconds or less. Get a real comptuer faggot.
Thanks for just making my point more obvious. But in doing so you just showed how my point Doesn't suck. Quite the way with words you have eh? Maybe you should get off your fanboat fanboi and stop crying a river.
My definition is From when i Push the power button to windows FULLY loaded and ready to use. Like i said get a real computer before you start trying to make timing assumtions.
You must have a horrible computer. Timed boot for me in vista is 23 seconds. Maybe you should stop visting NSFW sites and youw wouldn't have hundreds of processes running in the background. FFS people i thought this is slashdot, you know a place you would assume people would know how to USE a computer. That being said this is slashdot, so any and all op to smash MS will be taken. MS stright up said if your computer isnt new Vista aint for you. So whats the big deal, if you're too poor to afford a real computer go ahead and use linux. And have fun setting up gentoo since the avg setup time is 15+ hours to configure everything appopriatly.
Common you can tell who ever did his voice was just trying to sound like Sean Connery. It makes me laugh every time i hear him.
Actually D1 Was also released on the Ps1. I have a copy in my house somewhere. (Much preferred to play on the pc tho)

I believe him 100% conisidering I've had the same issues with all of the above mentioned OS on my computer at home.
Maybe you should stop assuming you have done everything that is possible in the world.

Nothing a little spray paint cant fix!
You do realize Sudo has nothing to do with the word super right? Or are you one of them Ubuntu users?

This news was about the successful use of the product. IIRC Wile E. Coyote was not very successful with many products.
You think someone from NBC even looks at Slashdot?
