I'm kind of confused where you get the idea that they could have to release all of their source code. It doesn't seem to mention that in the link at all, also its very doubtful that sony would do that regardless. I could be missing something though so if thats the cause I apologize.
Actually if they can't converse in English that is more of a reason they should have those channels. They could put on the Spanish captions while its playing in English. This would be a good way for them to learn the language of the country they are in. Personally if they have no desire to learn English they shouldn't be living in the country.
Biggest mistake you can make is watching it go in. Other than that needles are not that bad. Only when they have to do it multiple times because they miss the spot makes me sick.
There is nothing wrong with the UI in vista. Other than the annoying sidebar (easy to turn off) The UI hardly differs from XP. In my networking class at college we were all able to get a copy of Vista for 5 dollars. Almost everyone there enjoyed using it and toying around with it. The reason I figure this is the case is because we are all young and not dead set on learning a new thing. Granted Vista maybe slow on older machines its lightning fast on my machine and my machine is hardly top of the line. I would love to know exactly oyu find confusing because there nothing confusing about the UI when compaired to the UI of XP. It just looks shiney now. Im under the impression most people that dislike vista so much have not given it enough of a chance. By no means am I saying its a great OS. Its just as good as XP, however it is still windows afterall.
I think it mostly has to do with a lot of the development being done in America. Bigger = Better apperntly. If only people would start taking the logical route.
It is largely due to our government in the US. Generations now are not being taught about how to save money and not go crazy with credit debit. The government only helps this attitude with how they spend their money. I personally think that it will balance out in a generation or two. Once people learn from their mistakes.
That doesn't support the RIAA of course.
1.21 gigawatts? 1.21 gigawatts? Great Scott!

first thing I'm going to put up there is personal information to others. Any bets for how long till they are compromised?

For one I personally thought this was /. ? Since when do nerds let their OS update itself? The OS isn't to blame its the user.
Why do they give rockstar so much free publicity?
Viva la French for their choice of OpenOffice
Macs seem to be a little afraid of people being able to run windows and realizing the mistake they have made!!!!
