    You could've spun up Rackspace cloud servers, temporarily, to handle that load. There's no learning curve - pick the distro you want, the amount of RAM and storage, then log in and use it.

    19 days - Been there,done that. The lack of power was a minor annoyance. The Martial Law put in place due to the power outage was the real ass kicker. Cops at every intersection, arresting people on the spot and impounding their cars if they were out after 8pm.

    A mere 3 volt drop on a 120v circuit will cause visible light flicker. And house wiring is not the only possible cause.

    The CFAA has been used to prosecute, in this manner, for many years. The ToS defines authorized access and unauthorized access is illegal under the CFAA.

    If those are the only two features you need, yes. Otherwise, web Word and Google Docs's featuresets are eclipsed by software packages so old that it isn't even around anymore.

    I'm asking what unwanted byproducts result from the process of breaking down the battery and turning its components into a reusable condition. How much of the recycling actually happens at North American facilities and how much is shipped overseas for processing?
