If she enjoys psychology (or at maybe at this point just liked to talk on the phone a lot) she may want to consider that as a possibility. Research psych requires a lot of statistical and analytical skills
I've just called and canceled my Charter subscription today. I'm not even in the effected areas, I just wholly disapprove of my Slashdot addiction being monitored. Plus, I pay 150 bucks a month and don't even get HBO...
I hope ATT is more in tune with their customers.
While of course there is no such thing as 'good waste', simple math will tell us that the monetary loss to the people of Indiana is minute. According to the 2006 census, the population of Indiana is 6,313,520. So if DST costs the state 8.1e6 per year then that is a meager 1.28 dollars per capita, or a single order of In-n-Out fries per person.
"Why not use required surveillance to expose or prevent backdoor wheeling and dealing? When our representatives meet with special interest groups, corporate executives or other people out to buy influence, it's not something that's personal or private for the elected politician. There should be special lobbyist meeting rooms with cameras running 24/7. If congressmen and others meet with lobbyists outside the rooms, they go to jail for corruption. This is the people's business, and we have the right to know all about those conversations."
Absolutely great idea. Who in America besides politicians and shady corporate execs wouldn't be for this idea? Public servants' dealings should be public knowledge.
I like the clever name, but what is 5 pounds off of Oprah's ass? It's still huge!
I'd be impressed if the sombreros were switched...

This one should be pretty easy to figure out. Who's the Ivan in the village with the new brick house?
No body was found, and was purportedly "eaten by animals". Conspiracy theories live on!
Oh no! The Police!
Quickly hide the Budweiser
Down the tank it goes

How does screening people coming into the country equate to totalitarianism? Seems like perfectly reasonable security measures to me.
