    Stuff like this is entirely irrelevant. Your reaction makes me hate people.

    Not that long ago we had to deal with none of the kind of modern technology that you probably need to use as a crutch. We sent people on long voyages comparable to colonizing Mars. We managed very well. You're probably only here because of how well we could manage.

    There is nothing stopping us from distributing all of the necessary food while not even employing any modern technology for the preparation of it.

    I know people that still employ these techniques either because of lack of affluence or being very picky food snobs.

    If you're doing a Hackintosh then you can ditch the whole low profile thing entirely and have a MUCH better range of available options.

    Even with a NUC, you probably still have a much better range of available options.

    The limiting factor is the small subset of the available PC options that MacOS will actually support.

    That's utter bullshit. What spec that MacOS conforms to is far too restricted and low level to be of any practical value. Macs underneath are alien to anyone that's worked with real Unixen. Far more alien than Linux.

    Macs have always been their own proprietary GUI based thing. These days they happen to be a variant of OpenStep.

    They aren't Unix to your average Mac user and they aren't Unix to those of us that have worked with other Unixen.

    The jack-of-all-trades approach in Apple apps is like the opposite of Unix.

    I would have paid for payware Unix back in the day if it actually had supported common PC hardware.

    I just recently tried adding an additional hard drive to a Win10. What a hot mess that is. It's like they are going out of their way to annoy everyone both n00bs and power users.

    You may even find the non-WinDOS games on Steam to your liking.

    Sickle cell is a genetic defect. It can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on where you live and how strongly it's expressed.

    Being resistant to disease is generally an advantage. Even the younger crowd of cancer patients have generally lived long enough to spawn the next generation. They're already past the natural human expiration date.

    This article is pretty much a solid counterargument against that.

    There are in fact genes that are associated with various racial and ethnic populations. They give rise to genetic diseases associated with various races and ethnicities. They also limit who you can get an organ or bone marrow translplant from.

      A little bit of spit can tell us EXACTLY what your racial and ethnic makeup is.

    Value judgements are another matter entirely.

    "white genes" are very real.
