People say that alot, but... I went through a few phases... I was completely addicted to my family and my job til a friend convinced me to do a 30 day trial of wow. Then I became addicted to that and only that. Sure, maybe I'm just one depressed son of a gun. Maybe I just needed an escape, sure.. But I kinda liked my old escapes better than when WoW was my escape.

I did manage to quit wow, and have since turned my addictions to spending time with my kids... but I gotta tell you... It was hairy there for a while...

Unless you're hopelessly brainwashed by some cult (religion and/or political) then theres absolutely nothing wrong with kids seeing porn. If you are ultra-conservative enough to think that porn will damage your kids, then you are prolly being a hypocrite anyways, as neither of those institutions believe adults should even partake in consumption of pornography.

I don't have mod points today, so I feel compelled to instead reply to this post with a vehement "Hell ya!". I have been trying to convince people for years that a self signed cert is FAR BETTER than no cert at all. But the browsers... they belie the security implications horridly. The browsers themselves are teaching people that no security is better than self managed security, which doesn't do anything good except drive revenue to the Root CAs.

My father in law lives in west bumfuck, farmland. They tried for years to get BPL working there. But the sad fact of reality is that powerlines just arent up to the task. His community sunk massive funds into that project and they only ever managed to serve like 10 customers. And it was slow. And they all left for some type of LoS wi-fi. (I know not the underlying tech that went in, but its several towers at the tops of hills, and he himself had to install a 4 story tower in his yard.) They have all been very pleased with their wi-fi. And it was much cheaper than the powerline nonsense.

Thanks for that. In the future I'll be sure to ask your permission before making a post. You know, just in case you are in the mood for an "informative" post when I was preparing a "funny" post. I can't believe I have been so careless as to have offended you with the wrong post type. I do hope you can eventually find it in your heart to forgive me. Not now, I understand, your heart still burns with rage. But maybe years from now you will be able to look back on my penance and see that I am worthy of forgiveness.
