NASA sent an instruction to the lander that by all rights should have rendered it completely useless, and this restored your faith in NASA? just...wow....
I hate to say this, but... The addon system is open and well documented. If you want a feature, you can build it. Or, lacking said expertise/time, you can always pitch the idea to a crowd or two, and see if someone takes it and runs with it. (and yes, posting here is a good start, but keep it up)
What irks me most about the people complaining that apple is a rip-off is that it's almost always people that don't own an apple! There are very few mac users who think it was a rip-off. Most users, after they have had their macs for a bit, are quite willing to admit that the extra cost (when there is extra cost, which is far smaller than most make it out to be) is more than justified by the increase in quality over that comparable $BIG_OEM box they had last time that they hated every second of. It doesn't make sense, really.
[MANDATORY_CAR_ANALOGY] The cooper mini is a rip-off, I'm fine with my geo metro, its just as big, and has more options, and its cheaper! Meanwhile the cooper mini owner giggles at your geo metro every time he sees it. [/MANDATORY_CAR_ANALOGY] (no, it's not proper to compare a jaguar a geo metro, they are in completely different classifications)
Blizzard doesn't release multi-platform to somehow magically "improve" the quality of their games.
As blizzard has stated, they do not release to OSX to increase marketshare. They would actually be losing money on that deal. Their intention in multiplatform development is for the sake of quality. The fact that they get additional sales out of the deal is nothing but a perk.
However end result is the PS3 would run games the best due to superior hardware basically, and everyone else would cry foul.
Sadly, the type of "Superior" that PS3 has over the 360 is on paper only. Granted, its more expensive hardware, and on paper it's not just better, it's light years ahead of the 360, but in terms of final output... it has nothing at all over the 360. They are both "more than good enough".
Almost every game that is developed cross platform ends up way better quality wise then when developing for a specific platform. This is the reason why Blizzard ALWAYS releases cross platform. It's part of their strategy to maintain top notch quality.
I've seen alot of sysadmins.. Not one would last 5 minutes in jail, which is where he's going now. So sure, bow to his guts... which are going to be in jail, getting blunt trauma on a daily basis.
Seriously, read your post and then explain to me how it is you think you can honestly consider yourself a fan of blizzard. Then ask yourself who's being a whining cunt here. You state you've never had the problems that blizzard is protecting their networks from, and then turn around and use that as anecdote that blizzard shouldn't be protecting you?
...over the years Blizzard's arrogant controlling nature with regard to servers and products interacting with their games has never made me want to give them any support.
See, thing is, they do this as a service to the hardcore players, protecting them from the lazy ass script kiddies who only know how to run a cheat engine. Don't like that, it's fine, go away, blizzard has never wanted your kind anyways. Just don't think Blizzard is taking some kind of low road here. All of blizzards fans appreciate this.

I've found the quality of posts has greatly increased since D2 started forcing people to preview before posting.
It reads: "It's cold in here, and I'm lonely."
boy was that the wrong post I just replied to... sorry!
The parallel was intentional. I am a proud owner of a dirt cheap Kia.
That's 100% inaccurate information
+1 insightful *does not mean* "I agree with you"
Yes, but it is excess power that does not improve the quality of gameplay. As I said before: both are more than good enough.

When did you up the number of moderator points given out at one time? Used to be that you got 5. But today I find I have 15.
That explains why I haven't gotten mod points in the last 5 week. NOW QUIT HOGGING!
-5 Ironic signature
So you're willing to allow them to track what you watch, but not the username you assigned to yourself?
a bad reference, but the first one I found

That is their stated reasoning, not mine.
What exactly did you think they were doing? Why wouldn't they have usage logs of their services?
Parent does not deserve OT mod

I might be wrong...
Not just wrong, but delusional too!

Well, he sure proved them right, that guy's way too unstable to employ. Too bad they didn't realize that and fire him long ago.
Then you are not a fan of Blizzard, and you should seek out another game to play. There are many others out there that offer what you are seeking.
