    City manager can be fired by the city council. Problem is most councils dont have the balls to do it.
    City managers are low skill people that cant make it in the Corporate world. They are a dime a dozen.

    Printing RMA sheets for returning materials to vendors. and the shipping labels that go on the boxes. Printing invoices to be sent to the customers. Printing paychecks. Yes some people still like getting a paycheck.

    I also print out on a large format printer blueptints on the large design jet. Damn contractors refuse to get 21" ipads to view the drawings.

    Army could use this easier... Dual wielding 50cal machine guns and ammo cans mounted on back turn a single guy into a weapons platform that throws 600 rounds a minute at the enemy and can do it all day long.

    Although I'd rather see one 50 cal machine gun and then a belt fed 20mm canon with Explosive rounds, or a pair of 40mm fully automatic grenade launchers... One man shock and awe is what is needed on today's battlefield.

    If the Flight attendants would actually apply the rule to EVERYONE and not just coach class.

    Last flight I was on the complete dirtbag in first class was chatting away on his cellphone well after the cabin door was closed and we were rolling. They did not say a word to him, yet told the kid with his Kindle to put it away.

    First class dirtbags that cant stop talking on their phones need to be smacked in the head, their toy taken from them, and then someone in Coach switches seats with them. They LOSE their first class seat but still pay for it for being a dirtbag.

    Sadly these rich guys are all whiny babies and will complain instead of admitting they were being jerks.

    Why? for useless crap I reuse a lot. I consider Drop Box useless as it's not private nor secure. It's a free throwaway service.

    In fact it's smarter to reuse on places like forums and interest webpages.

    If this is not done within 30 seconds then it's a waste of time as they will get nothing useful at all, it's only useful in a lab on a specific computer and has NEVER been used in law enforcement. I would love to see this work on my Toughbook that does not even have firewire.

    Buy a RedOne used and have another $5K left over to buy lenses. They will not get anywhere near the quality of a redone, and why wait for them to make something that you can buy right now.

    Honestly, it's all silly, The digitalBolex is another one that is only for hipsters. Real cinematographers, cimply use what they can get their hands on, and there is already options that are just as good for less money.

    Current ios version with siri plugged into a charger. "hey siri, call home" works perfectly and I dont have to touch it.

    What did they use? an iphone 3S for their study? I have more of an argument with my HTC ONE M8 trying to get freaking voice dialing to work. Android has utter crap for it's dialing capabilities and needs to be updated.

    yes I carry and daily use an M8 and a 5C, so I know more about this than 90% of you.

    Internet would be deemed a public utility and regulated as such.
    It's raging BS that all the companies involved were given buttloads of public dollars to build out the infrastructure and did not even come close to meeting the promises they made.

    Should they merge? yes, only if they are forced to common carrier status for internet and fall under telephone regulation and requirements.

    /opt/app is not acceptable either. /etc

      $HOME/.config (I'd rather it be called etc to be consistent) is fine but /opt is just bullshit.

    two places, no more. having to go hunting for crap is one of the biggest problems with linux.
    and it has always been there. Gnome X11 and a lot of others crap in $HOME/ And it's all because the developers are lazy and need to be beaten with a sack of doorknobs.

    No but the Dumb-ass developers and Distro makers throw config files all over hell in random places.

    If your config files are not in /etc or ~/.appname then the developer is a complete moron. /opt/dev/random/stinky/appname/config.cfg is NOT acceptable.

    Yup driven one and raced one. My old pontiac Fiero when I had it utterly destroyed my buddy's 2005 viper at track days on the corners. (Note: I did have an LS engine in the back of mine.... that was a fun project for a winter)

    A 1986 sporty looking commuter car utterly destroyed a 2005 "supercar" on a track. On the straights he owned me, but I owned him on the hairpins easily.
