Don't most people pay around $5 to $10 for unlimited texting? Who is still paying per text? On that note, who still does not have unlimited voices calls, long distance, texting and internet on their phones? Services like Cricket have offered this for years for ~$50 a month.
One of my favorite things about 3.5e was building my character. There was so many different ways to craete a unique character. I agree, after reading the books and creating a few different characters for test, they all feel about the same. I loved fighter in 3.5, so many choices on your build. Now they feel so bland.:-(
I'm about to start my first 4e game (Hopefully). After reading the books, I have to say I was a little disappointed. But, I am hoping that it makes the mechanics of fighting go smoothly. I really miss the bard though; I enjoyed skill monkeys.
If I just wait a few years, any games I might still be interested in will be cheap and play on commodity hardware--and all I've lost is, well, nothing--actually gained a little extra time.
Guess you could say that for just about anything. Sloshdot loves car references, but i'll pass:-)
But yeah, if you don't mind waiting till something is outdated, then you can save some money. But if you enjoy playing new games, using new cellphones, etc. then you go ahead and pay the money to do so.
I think this is great. Older systems do nto become useless just becase newer ones come out. Also, a lot of people enjoy playing the older games. This should be a great way to keep them around.
I upgradded to IE7, because it was better then IE6. I only use it for sites like NetFlix, that require me to use IE. But it is nice to have Tabbed browsing when a website forces me to use IE.
Even if his computer was slow, it still does not change that IE7 loads much slower for him then FireFox. Assuming he was on an exceptionally slow computer, it would only support FireFox being the better browser.
True. I'd much rather have $50 cash then a GC to only one store. GC's for you to either waste money, buy not spending up to the full amount, or spend your own money by going past the GC amount. At the end of the day, GC's suck.
Do you really think a handgun would be any use whatsoever against the armour-plated, tank driving army, should the US populace ever get riled up enough for open revolt?
iT's a start. Look at Iraq, the population is refusing to except occupation and after having a much more advanved military force in the country, the "green" zone is still small.
Guess I was stuck on the fact that he did not officially sample the song, as you claim in your first post. Because people in the music industry that do sample, pay for the right to do so.
His official position was that the 8th note was not the same, so they were two different peices of music. Settling out of court is not the same as being proven guilty.
A couple of days after the success of "To The Extreme", many people noticed that the bass line of "Ice Ice Baby" was very similar to that of "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie, and they thought that Ice ripped the line off. He tried to explain that they were different by adding one note in his version. No one was convinced, and Queen and Bowie sued. Ice then released "Extremely Live", which contained music from one of his concerts. It sold 500,000 copies and reached Gold status.

That is unless the Federal Government puts you in jail for defacing the pennies first.
HaHa
this was funny.
I think a lot might do that.
:-(

The GP meant "millions of [American or European] lives"
"Big science" just sounds stupid
LMAO,
Well placed.

They were blocked from competing

Seems the problem was more wiht you letting a crackhead into your life then with the bank's debit card.

Text is always useful. Also, I always end up surfing the internet to websites like Fark when I have to kill time waiting for something.
Go head and ridicule me, I deserve it.
So your British?
LMAO,
That was good
"It's been 11 minutes since you last successfully posted a comment Chances are, you type faster then one word per minute"
lol, I got a good laugh form that.

Not quite the same, and your example is bad
First off.. Vanilla Ice did not sample. He changed the 8th note, so therefore it was "original".. This was not listed as "sampling"
Now, for someone who does sample, a lot, P Ditty (Puff Daddy, Sean Combs, Whatever).
He does sample a lot. But, he pays the copyright holder for the rights to sample that music.
