Hehe, I use hard drive magnets to put stuff on the fridge. Much better than those 'refrigerator" magnets that just fall off whenever you close the door. 'Course, need to use a crowbar to remove what I put up there, but at least it isn't going to fall off.
That was a dumb analogy. If you're going to use ballet, then you should say "don't complain when they don't break dance in the middle of Swan Lake."
Games can be interactive AND tell a story. A video game isn't defined as 'interactive button mashing repeatedly doing the same thing over and over, ad nauseum, for hours on end." If a game doesn't have a story to push it forward, or at least some type of goal, then it really isn't worth playing.
Sure, Portal would've been fun without a story. But with that little extra bit of story added in, it went from something mediocre to something fantastic. All because of STORY.
"satisfy the explore and dick around urges that were once filled by console or even offline single player PC games" I'd say playing outside with friends and roaming the neighborhood, but that's just me.
OK, it was a FIRST in that SDO actually saw it streaking in front of the sun. No impact, though as they pretty much always evaporate. Maybe a larger piece will come along one day and it WILL impact, but that isn't too likely
"Why should consumers care about the AT&T/T-mobile merger? Already, Verizon has dropped unlimited data plans and the US trails Japan, South Korea, and others in variety and performance of mobiles. Don't think for a second that those aren't the direct result this new monopoly", says blogger Tom Henderson.
I'm pretty sure "Japan, South Korea, and others..." were far ahead of the US in mobile performance LONG before any merger talks came about.
Actually, the article is specifically about the NORTHERN lights and how they'll be visible at lower latitudes, in the northern hemisphere. That being said, the Southern lights will ALSO be affected the same way, at lower latitudes in the SOUTHERN hemisphere. So the titles really isn't misleading, just that it's about the northern hemisphere.
Well, just been studying some basic cryptanalysis. Using basic technique, I notced 33 digits, so I wrote out eleven three-part digits:
110
010
111
001
001
010
100
100
111
010
011
then, using columnar transposition, get 3 eleven digit binary numbers:
10100011100
11100100111
00111000101
Got nothing after that. Time for bed.

I'm sure productivity went DOWN, since everyone kept trying to refresh/reload..."Maybe THIS time it will work?!"
It happens. It eventually gets fixed, everyone moves on with their lives, then 5 years later, it gets spammed all over.
As a receiver of a $500 settlement check from a lawsuit against Toshiba (re: Toshiba Satellite 5005-S507 Laptop), I'm getting a kick out of these posts...and currently looking forward to getting a Dell Streak.

I agree. I have MW2, MW2: Ghost Bear's Legacy and MW2:Mercanaries all ripped to computer that I regularly play on my MP3 player. Half Life 2 is another that I regularly listen to as well.
I think you're confusing 'carbs' with 'grains' (as the title to your post might suggest); humans are quite able to process carbs quite easily. Every eat fruti? How about vegetables? Yeah, those are carbs. But they do take a while to break down, plus they contain fiber, which is also good for you body. Grains, on the other hand, are BAD carbs (I'm talking about processed grains here, not the stuff you'd pick off a wheat plant growing in a field; good luck trying to eat THAT.) They break down too quickly into sugar, which is quickly absorbed into the blood stream, thus causing high spikes in insulin which leads, eventually, to insulin resistance. Stay away from most grains, eat lots of fruit/vegetables and lean protein and add in some poly unsaturated fat (almonds, cashews, avocado, olive oil/olives) and you'll be on your way to a leaner, healthier you.
No one has built this in Minecraft, yet!?
I don't know....soiled panties would've been my guess.
I just checked heavens-above and they don't really seem to be all that close. Orbits are SIMILAR but not all that close.

AAaargh! Is it JUST me or does anyone else keep reading MW2 as MechWarrior 2? EVERY time I see that it happens and it drives me nuts!

Sorry, but it happens all the time. That was a Kreutz-family comet; known as a sun-grazer. Happens all the time.

The app isn't universal. It's only released for a few handsets here and there.

Didn't we already do this, with a penguin? http://www.bigideafun.com/penguins/arcade/spaced_penguin/default.htm
also see that my last 10100011100 11100100111 00111000101 is also a palindrome...meh.

Dr Kleiner says it's well within parameters, nothing to worry about.

You 'opted-in' by signing up in the first place. I'm waiting for FB to say "Don't like how we do business? Here, let us help you close your account."
