I don't understand how they are even allowed to receive money from non citizens. We would be all up in arms if Putin was financing some American politicians, so why do we allow multinational corporations to do it?
This is actually a good idea for a computer monitor for one person. Any reasonable two monitor setup is going to be at some angle instead of completely flat anyway, it seems to me that a monitor with a large curve that you sit 1-3 feet from would be a pretty sweet idea (in particular make it so that you can fit multiple together). You might even be able to make a monitor that is adjustable (the screen is made of gel).
Also I bet it is pretty much just as easy to built a curved one as a flat one, so there is no reason to expect a big price increase.

First off, I still have not read his entire manifesto and do not plan to, but I have read and heard snippets of a bunch of his stuff. And I completely agree that he was acting and thinking psychopathically. But I do not think that had much to do with any of these events or that was who he really was. A lot of people have to embrace temporary psycopathic behavior and thinking to work in buessness or law/war, and while there is obviously more here than just that I am not convinced that it is not fundamentally more of that than true psychopathic behavior. I still have this feeling that if he had been a true psychopath he would not have had such trouble killing women and gotten a bigger percentage. To me it seems a true psychopath would of just became a serial rapist/killer, but I am not sure that he had it in him. I think he was still struggling with a consius and the wish to fit into society and that is why unlike previous mass killings women were not only not the primary victim but a minority (even though it was their absence in his life that made him the most depressed).
But to my main point. Psychopathy is not known for producing lonely People who just cannot fit in and it is not known for people who go the dealth by cop route/suicide. One thing I think we can all agree on is that this was primarily a self destructive act of desperation (and I would argue a last ditch effort to prove his worthiness *). He did this because he lived a horrible lonely life and had no hope that it would ever get better. So while he very well might of been a psychopath, that was not a defining feature in him that produced this.
* he seems like he is missing any kind of knolege of masculinity. Unable to think of any way to try and prove his worth to the world beyond displays of wealth and feminine physical attractiveness (hair, skin, cloths, accessories). Any kind of father figure was obviously lacking in his life. But that does sort of follow with psychopathy, absence of a father figure has been linked as one of the leading causes of psychopathy. If we want to blame some abstract part of him for this, that is what I would blame.
It seems pretty clearly demonstrated that due to some factors he was never able to form any meaningful human relationships. Most likely this snowballed over many years, where failure at relationships piled insecurities onto of insecurities making it harder and harder to form these relationships. And it all very well might of started with the tiniest of mental aberrations. For all intents and purposes he was slowly dying of thirst over the years, his human needs were being denied by society and his own internal issues. That made any action he took after that, no matter how extreme, reasonable and inevitable. That he decided to kill others instead of just committing suicide is a simple matter of personality not psychopathy. If he had been a psychopath he would of been better emotionally equipped to handle the loneliness (and often psychopaths have a lot of social savvy).
This is indeed shocking, as everyone one knows we all thought that we had perfected the art of artificial human intelligence and that there was no more room for improvement.
The economy runs on waste. If the government did things even moderately efficiently 90% of the population would need to be unemployed, which would cut into the the profits of everyone.
I think we sort of have two different origins of psychopathy.
Number one, and I think the most common stereotypical one, is taught to be a psychopath. Someone taught to kill and torture from an early age with abuse/neglect/etc. These are the ones most like the ones you see in movies and the ones most likely to end up in prison. Children are very elastic and resilient. You can teach them to be killers, or feral dogs, anything you want.
2) Some number of people seem to be born without shame, or something really like that. They do not feel bad the same way as everyone else when they see others upset with their actions, and as such seem to never outgrow a children's natural psychopathic behaviour. But research is still in it infancy with regard to psychopathy. It is hard to say if their are any irredeemable cases, if every child would grow up moderately normal if raised in a decent family. But some definitely seem to have natural potential for psychopathy, at least.

And I guarantee you that that would of effected the number of people who torrented it.

It is scary sometimes how much control the limitations of Google Search has over our lives.
For example, the best anti pirating system you can use for any game or film is to name it with less than 3 characters. It then becomes very hard to search for it.
It took me days to find "9" (and I know others who had similar problems), and I think I never did end up seeing "B".
I imagine they are for different use cases. I can only guess, but I am guessing that those 75 lumens are enough, and only enough for projecting a small imagine to a wall really close it it.
You might need a thousand lumens to create a 10 foot high screen, but 75 might be good enough for a 1 foot high screen.
I think that is why they simply turn off the machines. It is always illegal to kill someone, so they simply allow them to die relatively slowly and in pain to get around it.
Also, theoretically he cares about her. Should some law prevent him from doing what is right?
Hmm, I looked into it after I wrote that and it got a bunch of really really bad reviews.
But it IS??/was in development while being playable for a long time, so I am not sure if it changed/is changing to be better than those reviews indicate.
