Oh geez, West. Talk about a shit-faced company. No direct deposit unless you've worked there five years (like anyone would stay there that long), no assigned desk (rotated seating, even a bathroom break means logging out of your system and then finding a new one when you come back), systems that require running about 6-7 IE Windows and a few other network applications with only 512MB of RAM, 10 minute breaks that are cut short because you have to log back into said slow ass system about 4-5 minutes early in order to get back on the phone after the break, and team leads and senior reps that treat you like it's a damn elementary school. I have no illusion that call center jobs are great jobs, by and large, but I've worked with three different call centers and working at West by far was the worst experience of the three, no contest. The best thing about it was when I called in to tell them I was quitting, they didn't even act a tiny bit surprised. The average employee probably stays there about 2-3 months, including the training that lasts about a month and is much easier than the actual work.
Oh boo hoo, someone hurt her vagina? It's hilarious how bent out of shape you are because I referred to it as an anime. Who gives a fuck? Get out of your basement for more than five minutes for any purpose other than to go down to the comic store.
I don't know a URL off the top of my head, but there were interviews with the creators of the first two Diablo games where they actually said that the desaturated look in the original two games was due to technological limitations at the time, rather than an art style. They also indicated that what D3 looks like is closer to what they wanted to do, but at the time the tech just wouldn't make it look good.
Except that James Cameron has been dreaming up this idea for going on a decade and a half. The Anime has only been in existance since it's conception in 2001 and wasn't on TV until 2005. James Cameron wrote a lite-script for Avatar in 1995.
I think all of the championing is more about the CGI and 3D filming, rather than the story. It is amazing how great the movie looks, even if the story is most likely going to be underwhelming. The fact that many studios are already talking about scrapping making 2d movies and instead want to gear towards 3D shows that it is already having an impact in the film industry even before it has hit theaters.
I honestly think it looks great, and I think most other people agree. I'm surprised you complained about the art direction in SC2 and not in D3 (even though I think the art in D3 also looks great).
No one is really concerned about using up seawater, since there is plenty of it and in it's natural, unfiltered form it is not fit for consumption. It's clean, drinking water that is a concern, and that's not fit for this fuel conversion so it's a non-issue.
The only question is how are you going to fit enough Cows on an aircraft carrier to produce sufficient methane, and how are you going to filter out the smell?
The odds that several foreign powers would consolidate power against the US, considering we help provide protection and arms for many of those powers, is vastly unlikely. Even countries we do not directly support with our military, we support indirectly by keeping their neighbors from trying to attack them (Saudi Arabia is the perfect example of this).
I always find the military dating method much more concise. 11 Sep 01 leaves no ambiguity, whereas 11/9 or 9/11 could be interpreted as the same depending on who's looking at it.
Exactly. They can put in the contract that you have to kiss a moose on the buttcheeks if you are late on your payment, but terms of a contract holding up in court are a different animal. Likely this is more to discourage people who don't know any better from filing a class action suit, but it won't prevent them.
What this law really means is that the entire country of Ireland is about to become one gigantic Japanese gameshow, which means just another form of entertainment for U.S. Americans, such as therefore.
Only to have any competent lawyer have the case thrown and the legislature review the law for violating a constitutional right. Assuming a judge didn't automatically throw the case out, any appellate court would quickly reverse a judgement that favored the city/county/etc over the defendant. No law can be made in any municipality that would directly contradict one of the rights spelled out in the constitution. Now I know, in reality, there are plenty of laws that at least get close to trampling on the constitution, but in theory, it should be relatively easy for any lawyer to argue their way to an easy dismissal of such a charge.
Unless it's in a primarily Muslim country and the subject of the casual swearing is versus Mohamed. I wouldn't expect you'd last long if that were the case.

Chris Matthews, is that you?
Oh yeah almost forgot...WOOSH!
LOL pent up rage. Wow, you are making yourself look more and more stupid by each post. Get a life, dude.

It doesn't have to come from Asia to be an anime, you racist clod.
Can't argue with that logic, carry on.

What the fuck is twitter? I'm still trying to figure out this whole Prodigy and AOL stuff.

My question is, will you please ignore the AC parent and not ever bring these games to consoles? Mmkay thanks goodbye.
Response: Because you touch yourself at night.

Not to mention plenty of untapped oil in Alaska and off of both coasts, although tree huggers will protest any attempts to drill either.

Because we all know Ireland is just fiction invented to entertain us...

And probably another revolution. They'll call it the War of a Hundred Beers.
