I think we are pretty much screwed if a group of smart burglars finds a way to predict the "predictive policing". Or will this remedy include protection against prediction of predicting predictive patterns? ^^
If it does, I guess we've solved the mystery of how to make sure a photo is actually removed from Facebook instead of just removed from your profile and stored away in some archive forever...
It's not like they want to store your photos of disputable value. Update operations on server's HDD are simply faster than delete operations. So FB just marks photos as unused (instead of actually deleting files). How often do they purge the unused content, is another question.
That's not the main reason to change it. As of February 1st, PHP4 is dead. It would be just about time to rewrite the code to PHP5, as there will be no more security updates after August 8th. Then it's really dead.
The toughest product ever made is homo sapiens. The lifespan of this product is approx. 65 years and the cheapest ones are made in China. Anyway, you can easily reproduce them in a special device called bed with no additional resources. What is more, sons of the bitches are not even close to extinction, no matter how many vulnerabilities they have. Has anyone tried to ask God for Service Pack 1? I would appreciate it very much.:))
You apparently don't know what's communism. If you see communism as an ideology where people steal and eat each other, you should consider visiting Wikipedia on this matter.
No major business runs their corporate infrastructure on Macs. No major sites with valuable data I know of are hosted on Apple hardware.
Oh! I know one company. Its IT infrastructure was built by a guy who really loves Macs. Now everybody at the company hates him.
"But it is not an iPad!"
Unfortunately, unanswered PHP questions tend to be plain stupid. So that doesn't count.

I hope LulzSec makes some funny stuff to Oracle's servers soon.
How about having four granddads and no grandmas? I'm sure men are all good with woodworking and stuff, but who would cook the soup for grandgaylings?
Duh, patents should become extinct to avoid future monopolies. Let's encourage progress! ^_^

Hitler had a stylish haircut. Germans do not object to it's appearance on Wikipedia, I presume.
