Which of the software tools Google uses are Open Source? They start with open source, but everything they add and change to make it scale, is kept inhouse. Google does several things to promote open source, but releasing their own software as open source is not one of them. I fail to see what the case of Google proves about open source.
urchin.js is plain ole' human written javascript. ga.js is created using google's Java-to-Javascript compiler (http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/), which creates javascript from Java.
and I haven't gone through it to work out what it's doing.
Good. Safe yourself the trouble, because you won't succeed. It's, to put it mildly, not optimized for human readers.:)
A good solution is installing the EasyEclipse distribution which suits your need: http://www.easyeclipse.org/site/distributions/index.html They have ready-to-run out-of-box distributions for Desktop Java development, for Mobile Java development, A LAMP distribution: development with PHP, Python, Perl, and Ruby development with a web server and a database. They offer also an Easyeclipse distribution which includes everything you need for C/C++ develepmont.
No need to go through the horror of trying to add new plugins and fighting the depency horror. The distributions come with everything included: Choose distribution->download->run.

I'll make it multiple choice to help you answer that question:
[_] He liked doing it. No way he was going to give up that kind of fun.
[_] He might make a mistake when automating it. That would be horrible for those people who wanted to watch tv.
[_] He never tought of that. He didn't had time to think because he was to busy waiting and doing nothing.
[_] He had the job for the money. It would be pretty stupid to automate yourself into unemployment!
AFAIK different torrent clients use different ports. It seems your ISP is looking at certain ports. So just switching to another client instead of another OS might also help. Or configure the client to use other ports.
If you wanted a basic system, capable of browsing the web, playing some music and playing some games, you could have saved yourself a lot of money and put XP, Opera and some other stuff on a PC with the same specs as those OLPC thingy's. A bit slow, but certainly workable.
But I assume you also want to be able to do some stuff that are less relevant for a kid in a third-world country. You might want to edit movies, run KDE4, compile you own kernel, play the latest games, etc. etc. For this you need a multiple core, multiple Gigz system.
Why not tattoo a number on every prisoners' arm?
Oops, we had that before.
Nevermind...
1) The Nazi's having done something doesn't automatically it is a bad thing (although most of their actions were evil, this does not mean all of their actions were).
2) A tattoo could not be removed or erased, and it wasn't supposed to be. An RFID implant can both be removed and erased.
3) The Nazi's tagged people based on ethnics, religion or sexual preference. This discussion is about tagging criminals.
Yeah, I hate criminals. Some should never be let out.
But they are still humans. Not cattle.
He lists as a positive indicator *anyone* who is passionate about technology. Sorry, but I've met a lot of people who are bubbling over with enthusiasm about programming, but can't code worth shit
You, and a lot of other posters, don't seem to understand what the term positive indicator means.
Yes, I stand corrected. I didn't understand what you were getting at in your 'Just proves' post, but I see what you ment now, and I agree with it.

Exactly. See above.

Good luck!
I never tried Vista, but seeing that image almost makes me. Even with so many windows 'n' stuff it looks great. Makes my KDE look a little... 90's.

Thanks for the link. Bookmarked.
Cheers. Have some more Wine 1.0 :)

There is no escape. Today Humor will die a little...
LimeWire also runs on Linux and OS X, so your estimate might be off by a tenth of a percent.
