lovely points. I personally wish I got points like in GTA4 for hitting pedestrians in Manhattan. If 1 actually followed motor vehicle laws to the T in Manhattan you wouldn't be able to drive anywhere. It's technically against the law to drive through a crosswalk that has pedestrians in it. Most Manhattanites are texting, biking, walking without caring against the light.
There are blind people out there. The blind rely on the sounds of traffic to know when it's safe to cross. The Prius, Insight, etc. are too quiet for the blind to know if these vehicles are coming. This external speaker should be standard on hybrids.
The only people allowed to advertise on my car is me. I'm not allowing anyone else to use my vehicle for their money making. New York already makes a boat load of cash on registration and license renewal fees. If I need extra cash desperately, then I'll allow some big company to plaster my car front to back. There are plenty of cars in Manhattan that have this happening, just like the tourist buses and city buses.
State governments need to eliminate their b.s. before eliminating necessary funds for its' citizens, or taxing the hell out of them. The fees these government officials pay "experts" can balance most of the budgets in this country.
about time. i stopped using them and mcaffe like 5 years ago. They charge ridiculous amounts of cash to slow down your system. Get free stuff and stop slowing down your system. Use Avast and Spyware Doctor (free from Google)
how bout uninstalling ie 7 on xp, vista, and eventually windows 7 (when ie 8 is uninstalled, it'll revert to ie 7 most likely). IE 7 freezes way too much, but there are still too many websites that require it for add-ons, etc. Firefox's ie add-on doesn't work on those type of sites.
CDs may not yet be dead, but look at the difference in sales from say 10 years ago til now. Itunes, Limewire, Kazaa, Napster, and others have made a huge dent in physical CD sales. The public needs to be more educated about Sony. The people around me know not to trust the Sony name.
Anyone with tech know-how knows 2 things: 1. CDs are a dead format, why reinvent something that is dead. 2. Would a tech-guy willingly buy anything with the Sony name?

Not all the software available runs on Linux or Apple, etc.

Governments across this country are trying to fully phase in computers. It can't work.
It is very easy to take care of old hard drives, as Patrick Norton has demonstrated. He's a hero to all IT guys everywhere - http://youtube.com/watch?v=sVQYVwCUf30 or the premier video - http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4044075306851485556&q=techtv
