Yup, sometimes you get killed in a way that just makes you go "damn... that was a classy kill". Skilfully shot pipe bombs can be almost an art-form.
Other times is the damn bastard spy with his knife in your back (or even more annoying, your face) or the damn bastard sniper or a lucky crit rocket, or the pyro who *just* managed to set you on fire when you were ever so slightly too far from the nearest medpack. Those times you just want to find and brutally murder/rape that person/their character.
The way I've heard it, there was originally a real reason why DX10 wouldn't be compatible with XP, but then they scrapped some of the things they had planned, including the barrier to XP compatibility. They then proceeded to make it Vista-only anyway for their own nefarious reasons.
So maybe we should also not eat meat from older animals, in case those crazy "telomeres" have gotten so short that they've turned into poison somehow?
No-one's done research to prove that eating shortened telomeres doesn't cause cancer/heart disease/spontaneous combustion so just to be safe we'd best assume that it might.
