Another problem that may arise when Napster's banning users: They say the IP will be permanently banned. This can create problems for some people with dialup accounts, who get a new IP (almost) every time they log on.
If I get my IP banned, will another user who may get that IP another time also be banned, although he did nothing illegal on Napster?
And I will be able to create a new user, knowing that the chances of me getting the same IP again is fairly small...
Yeah I just love the way seldom-used items on the Start menu and Office2000 menu are hidden - makes the menus take up less space... and if you really need the items, it's really easy to get back.
Simple, everyone I've met has understood the concept at once.
Her in Norway, almost every bank has a "netbank" as it's called here.
I've never had any problems with this. When I pay a bill, first i log in with account name and a passcode for this (over a HTTPS connection).
Then, when I pay a bill, I have to key in another code from a code-card they send in the mail. There's a different code for each transaction. When the card is empty, they send me a new one.
And the money are on the other company's account in the second i press Send.
It had good graphics and sound capabilities for its time, and the OS was quite innovative and stable.
It's not a coincidence that most Star Trek:TNG and SeaQuest DSV was created and rendered on a bunch of Amigas with VideoToasters and Lightwave or that other great 3D app Imagine 3D.
And it was relatively cheap, too.

Well, LEGO is also an acronym for Lek Godt, whitch means "Play Well/Good/Fun" in English.
The English equivalent would be PLGO (play good) or PLFU or something like that:)
Well, I've run Win2K since Beta 3, and even then it was much more stable than NT4 with SP4. I never shut down my PC, I just used the Hibernate function. In three weeks, I restarted my computer 4 times - 2 because of program errors, 2 because of hardware installation.
That said, my Linux box has been up for 3 months without restarting...:)

Also the Danish company Kiss has a DVD/VCD/CD/MP3 unit. Don't know if you can get it in the states, but here in Norway it costs 3000 NOK, about $350.
And the cool stuff: It uses a standard Hitachi IDE DVD-ROM and some customized interface card to communicate with it.
