    If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

    He's obviously talking about infrastructure. Stop being willfully obtuse.

    Second Mantis. It is a webapp, but it's fairly simple to get up and running. It's PHP+MySQL, which should run fine on a mac (you do have homebrew, right?). I don't think you're going to find any single-user bug tracking programs, but I could be wrong!

    1) Why? It sounds like they are offering it as an optional addon. I'd much rather it be as simple as that, because it gives you the choice to remain Free or buy the codecs so you can view the nonfree multimedia.

    NetworkManager is the default on Ubuntu and Fedora (at least) and generally works quite well. It's been making huge strides over the last year, also.

    Nope. Fedora only "supports" (i.e. keeping repositories active) version n - 1. They support n-2 for something like 30 days after a new release.
