How do Managers justify the expense of having themselves? All these managers do is to make sure people do their job. Just pay the worker little more money to remember to do their job and the company can cut 50-100k off depending on cost of the manager and give the worker a 5k raise. Simple problem solved.

Wow, I was in your position but of another field. I graduated in finance and I was searching real hard. Try many temp agencies. Its a good way to get some noise. Temp agencies are in my opinion what you would call human resources but its been outsourced or well split apart because its costly to maintain someone that only brings people within the corporation to fill a position and pretty much what they only do. Alot of companies have a fear of mistakes so that is one reason they wont just hire someone out of college to do some highly technical thing unless with alot of experience, Which college have time and time again fail to provide.
The trend is corporations are getting smaller in the sense there are less people needed to run it. Unfortunately colleges have not been open to this change and we still pay 200k for a piece of paper.
Ill wait it out and see whether microsoft have what it takes to win. As for the lawsuit, that is rather interesting. I do hope that they have calculated their expense of the lawsuit into it if they do win. 1 thing is for sure, if they win, boy are their investors in for a lower return. If yahoo stays the same, they may end up losing so I guess have some gain is better than none if under the assumption yahoo goes down hill but I dont know because yahoo has millions of dollars to do anything. Ill wait to see how it goes. If yahoo wins, well microsoft will have to dump alot of shares along with the speculators. This is going to be fun rollercoaster ride. As far as I know, yahoo still makes money, so they fired 700 employees to breakeven maybe or to satisfy shareholder desire for higher returns. My advice would be to wait and see what yahoo does, then decide whether what they decided would be profitable.

Games and applications havent even reach a level to need such storage capacity. Now sony should be watching its shoulders as an Israel company is making a 1000 gig dvd. Whos going need a 1000gig dvd? Massive global consolidation of data onto a couple of dvds? maybe. I have a copy of the world in my pocket dvd. lol. The blue ray dvd can be an external hardrive? well- correct me if i am wrong but dont cd/dvd speed copy rate to hard drive is just under 2mbs max? I can do a 16-20mbs on usb 2 and soon usb 3 would bump up to like 60-80mbs. Who would want a dvd player? who can still only pull 2mbps. Also flash drives are much much smaller than a dvd. When that 64 gig flash drive come down in price, which i hope soon, man can we run operating systems on it fast with usb3. So i wont even purchase a blue ray.
hey, have you heard of unionizing the customers. lol. all cable customers create union to demand lower rates otherwise we will switch the network. either 1 business gets it all or the other cable companies get none but then the company that gets all will be in a nasty anti monolopy case so we end up with a broken company, and no cable tv. everyone screwed, or better rates like the break up of at and t. With the internet, surely something like bringing alot of people together is easier than ever. China did it.
thanks for the measurements. Its a stupid idea to create crystals to adsorb co2. Trees are infinitely better than these crystal. Trees store C and not CO2. Just find a cheap way to release the O2 back in the air and we are good to go rather than build new land such as those found in the superman movie where crystal are everywhere. Probably the movie was showing how advance civilizations has gone overboard with this crystal and trying to prevent something like global warming.
lol. if planes were designed to speed of birds, how many bird flaps would it take to get me from ny to florida. A bird the size of an aircraft may need some humungo wings and massive weight reductions to produce lift. Maybe 1 flap of human made wings on a airplane can shoot me 1000 mph, just maybe.
