Everyone is sue happy. I do not know much about japanese or anything. Does that word have some other meaning? Anyone here know? Before he gets away with that much money you need a LITTLE more than a freaking spoon that is bent ( I can bend them to. I use the deadly frozen ice-cream trick ) Okay the name thing is close but Uhm. Ive never heard of the guy and he has not really trademarked or copyrighted any of the spoon bending stuff (has he?) so how can he dream of pulling this off? *shrugs* IANAL so I would be interested in hearing what anyone has to say.

Read some more on the site.. I was actually rather impressed with the whole thing. The Protocol to have other apps launch and talk to each other seems like a great idea. I think this is a step in the right direction towards getting things to 'play' nice with each other.

Thats the entire magazine. Making fun of people. Why? Its funny. I send the UserFriendly links to people who barely understand how to check there mail and click on the darn things and they tell me they spent hours reading it and they thought it was funny even tho they missed a lot of the humor. That says something there. I dunno what.. back to work.

This is the combination of an enlightenment theme ( DID anyone read the pages? ) and a few programs to acompany the theme for an overall awesome effect. All of its really simple to use. I cannot beleive people still flame Enlightenment as to much eye candy. And this theme proves E can be used for a lot of stuff other than A purdy WM. I dont like E so much. I prefer Fvwm2 myself. But I am good at its config files and its totally useable and I am good at developing within that enviroenment So its what I use. Anyways. Go read it. It made me go download it and try it! :-) Its pretty nice and I may consider using it.

  5. Y2K... on Apocalypse Not · · Score: 1

This part is sort of redundant.. but it was just hype.. plain and simple. When you encounter problems with a system? What do you do.. You invest money to fix them. Sure it was a global thing and thus mmore important. But most of my Y2K fixes were somewhat easy.. I know some of them were not. Mine just involed formatting the date properly and a few of my string parsing functions had to be modified a little. Its just bug fixing as usual. Not like some global killer people made it out to be. Life moves on..

  6. Re:Short-sighted on The Truth About File-Sharing · · Score: 1

Until said bandwidth is mobile and nearly all devices that play music in any fashion can access these perfect reproductions of music anywhere and anytime I do not forsee this being incredibly short sighted.

CD's are the popular medium right now... sure I can burn them and play them anywhere.... that is not the point Katz was making IMO.

And honestly how many people do you think know the difference in a 128K and 256K Mp3 at this point? Not so many, and even fewer probably care if they do know

So given the fact that people are willing to pay for music, and the fact that right now Mp3's are of acceptable quality, I see this kind of invalidating your point.

The worst I have had happen is it took access micro maybe.. 2 and a half weeks to process something once. and Axion was out of stock on an item that they said was in stock. We got it straightened out with a couple of emails and they had a comporable product for cheaper (Retail K6-3 400) OU tof what 20 hours 2 had (slight) problems. Thats more like 10%. Sure thats not THE best of odd's? I will take those odd's any day for the convenience of shopping in my house however. Nothing better than reading all of the reviews on a motherboard and cruising to 5 or 6 sites and getting the best deal on it. That is just plain time consuming if you have to drive to 5 or 6 computer dealers. IF You have that many in the area. Phew Lets not overlook the fact that, some people cannot even access things yu can get on the net. So does this statistic mean anything?.. nope. Not for me anyways.
