Scripts that start with #!/bin/sh but are written dependant on bash features will fail..
And that is just brain-dead from the beginning. If you ask for/bin/sh, you should get/bin/sh (which in my world should be statically linked, and I am looking at you, Linux distros) and not some almost-but-quite-not sh.
On the other hand, Adobe has since the days of Acrobat 6 been unable to produce anything that works on a case-sensitive HFS file system. Their solution: "Re-format using a case-insensitive file system". I am not sure I would attribute _all_ breakage to Apple...
Everything from Adobe newer than Acrobat 6 (including Acrobat 6 if you count the update feature) is utterly broken on case-sensitive HFS+ file systems. Adobe's solution? "Reformat with a case-insensitive file system." Needless to say, they don't get any more money from me...
Not only that, but I would think that since they went through a lot of effort to make the OS as well as build chains cross-platform, they have no reason to dump an architecture before it is absolutely necessary.

Ah, thanks. I just tried Reader 9, and indeed it seems to run OK.
