Fixed election dates are Evil. The length of an election is much longer with fixed election dates because everyone knows when it's happening, where snap elections you have to wait for the election to be called before you spend money on campaigning (don't want to spend all your money and not have an election). Longer elections favour the rich (cost), and nobody likes year long elections.
Google needs to buy the power company (nation wide). The power company owns their own private Right-of-Way to every single house in the country. With ownership of that Google can implement a national fiber to the home network ending in a "Tripple play" box at the house, then rent bandwidth to anyone who wants it. Because Google would only be running a generic data network (not cable or tel) they would be exempt from all the regulations and the monopoly deals the cable and ISP's have made with State/local governments. Without owning the wires Google will always be paying the local ISP for customer data and fighting companies that want to compete with them by excluding them from the market. Owning the wires lets them see all the data (maximize revenue) and prevents the competition from locking them out of the market. Owning the wires is the only SANE long term strategy for Google to follow.
You also need to scramble the order of the image files, so they can't be compared to cellphone records or serveilance camera footage to link to a specific voter. You also need some way to prevent voters from adding identifiers to the paper ballots, to prove how they voted (for vote buying or intimidation/blackmail voting).
Logically, the government needs the chats sent to them immediately so they can look for "problems", and logically the government will want to record everything so they can make comparisons to older chats, and logically the company doesn't want the expense of logging stuff if they don't have to- so I expect the company really doesn't record those chats.
I see no reason "Those with money" would want a solution to the tax avoidance problem. Would exports be taxed when they leave the country? If not, then it would be much cheaper to make stuff in the sales tax country and sell it in the income tax country.
I've seen no evidence American politicians didn't collaborate on this, in exchange for "Financial Contributions" to their election campaign. For a politician, being "Outsmarted" often involves "Other Benefits".
So what happens when the waitress at the restaurant incorporates, and now her (tax free) paycheck is going straight to her company (that she controls, and that pays her bills as business expenses). What happens when everyone does that? We lose our tax base and go broke is what I see.
There is a long list of things we don't need, like corn subsidies. No matter what a government does, if it runs out of money it will fail. I expect whatever replaces western democracy will be more careful about income.
The main benefits of Drug Legalization are: lower crime rates (most mugging/theft/break and enter are for drug money and legal drugs cost less), fewer drug addict deaths (drug quality control), less money to organized crime and terrorism (smuggling funds a lot of terrorists). We'd get those benefits in about 3 months (time to set up shop).
Just try blocking access to "Bleeding Edge Research" medical procedures and watch people get upset. We frequently hear news stories about people having to go to some third world country to get a "medical procedure" that heartless American doctors won't perform.
Just because most corporations can't be bothered to write good software doesn't mean nobody can. We know human level intelligence is possible, we just don't know how to get there.

All Copyrights should terminate 5 years after the owner stops selling it. If they don't plan on making money from it, why should we spend money to defend their copyright?

If you use your ISP provided VOIP and Video streeming service then you get priortized. Competing services will be slowed. Obviously they will charge extra for these premium services, no free U-Tube here.

Sattellite internet is slow and expensive. People who don't have internet now probably can't afford this, people who do have internet gain nothing from this. People with money and living/working in remote locations are a very small market who mostly already have several options. I don't see arctic oil drill camps as being a large enough market to pay for the launch costs.
The Russians are probably trying to trace how/where the USA taps undersea cables. Following those taps would tell them where the American intelligence bases are located around the world, and help them develop countermeasures against anyone tapping their cables.
