  1. $chool on Stanford To Offer Free CS and Robotics Courses · · Score: 2, Insightful

American Universities should be "open source", or at least 50% cheaper. Even then the average private school would still cost an average total of $80,000 USD (not including books, and the required spending money)

I usually warm my license with my coffee. It's more malleable after.

  3. Re:Time To Use Big Content's Methods on Spore DRM Protest Makes EA Ease Red Alert 3 Restrictions · · Score: 1

I agree that the DRM is extremely illogical when it comes to a computer game. Having the need to verify your right to install what you paid for, after you may have had to reformat a drive , bought a new computer etc, is just really dumb. But openly stating that there is a need for a Large Company to sue another Large company for xxx,000,000 US dollars is just ridiculous. The system in the US for filing lawsuits has almost evolved into a piece of humor. I'm most likely wrong when i say almost humorous.

  4. Virtual MMORPG on Virtual Reality Cocoon Being Designed · · Score: 1

Like it wasn't bad enough that Massively Multiplayer Online RolePlaying Games took over a lot of peoples lives with regular playing on Monitor. With innovations in this field it is extremely likely the multi-billion dollar gaming industry will take part in a completely virtual video game. MMORPGS and FPS are the most probable i believe but theres room for any genre to have placement.

Throttling internet speeds is just the beginning and it needs to be punished quickly and thoroughly before other practices are brought about leaving the ISP customer to choose which provider has the least amount of access restrictions. A minor slap on the wrist will not be enough.

  7. New York on Have Mathematics Exams Become Easier? · · Score: 1

I know from experience in New York State that the Mathematics system is extremely flawed in the public Schools. You Spend your Freshman and Half of your Sophomore year learning something called Math A (early algebra, factoring etc.) Then through your Second half of Sophomore Year and Junior year is spent Learning something Math B, which consists of Quadratics, Proofs, More advanced Algebra etc. The Argument over the validity of this system has been going on for the past 8 years its been in the works. Before this system there was a much easier system with one math class per year. Spending a Summer off and then continuing a math class is just absolutely ridiculous.
