I believe the figures right now are that republicans now control 3/4ths of state houses and 2/3rd of governor mansions... but I may have these two backwards.

..and you can thank the DNC for this, since they diverted money from local campaigns into the billion dollar fail known as the Hillary campaign. They spent over a billion dollars trying to get that witch elected in spite of the fact that the rank and file members of the party didnt want anything to do with her.

This never would have happened if Bernie had been allowed to win the nomination.

The Democrats, still using "super delagates", also didnt allow the popular progressive win the party chair. What they did was select another corporatist "liberal" and give the progressive a "participation prize."

Now, I dont agree with the progressives very much, but at least they stand for something. I don't think Bernie and the other progressives are lying when they speak. I just think that they are misguided. The "liberals" on the other hand... everything they say is a lie. Even the name "liberal" has become a lie w.r.t. them. There is nothing actually liberal thats left in the "liberal" wing of the Democrats.

The "liberal" wing of the DNC are now full blown fascist war mongers. They sold 20% of the U.S. uranium reserves to Russia. They let Russia invade a country that we were sword to protect by treaty. They can't even remember how many wars they started and chuckle about it (citation.) They forced everyone to give money to insurance companies (while calling this forced to use a middle-man that takes a cut "affordable care") They intend to keep poor people in poverty (citation.) They also admit that they prefer rigged elections.

The Democrats even let Russia invade and take over part of the Ukraine, who we were sworn to protect by treaty.

Meanwhile in the real word, Wikileaks says it wasnt the Russians that hacked the DNC. The only people saying it was the Russians are Democrats.

See right here? Thats a lie. You are reading a lie and not questioning it. Intel is the semiconductor manufacturer that invented lying about node size. There is no feature in Intel chips that are 14nm be they their "14nm" chips or their new kaby lake "14nm+" chips, yet your article says Intel is the only one doing true 14nm. Its fucking comical how big a lie your article is spewing.

Intel invented lying about node size. Even your article shows no feature size smaller than 42nm when calling Intels latest lie "true 14nm"

..and the "+" in Intels new "14nm+" is Intel actually INCREASING a feature size so that they can increase voltages and thus clock higher. The last time Intel did that was Pentium 4 / Netburst. Better hope they dont do a "14nm++" generation.

  10. ARM will not replace Intel in the high-power CPU market.

Of course not, but there is a company that makes high-power cpu designs and will be buying time on 10nm fabs before Intel figures out 10nm.

So for low power, Intel cant compete at all, and in high power, Intel will be behind.

Citation needed, and no I dont accept a citation that basically says "thats not real 10nm" because that 14nm intel isnt real 14nm. IIRC the smallest feature size on Intel 14nm is still 28nm, and thats after improvements while still at "14nm." Intel invented lying about feature size.

Also, Samsung isnt the only fab company beginning 10nm mass production well before Intel. TSMC and Toshiba will be mass produing before the end of the year (the end of the year is when Intel last said would be the absolute earliest that they could do it.)

TSMC, Samsung, and Global Foundries are also in a partnership with IBM on working out the kinks on 7nm. Intel is very fucked.

    ARM on 10nm.

Mass production has begun, while Intel is still at least a year away from 10nm. Its why Intel announced last August that when it finally does get 10nm to work, it will be making ARM processors not just x86 in those fabs.

Intel is rightly fucked as a vertical company. A decade from now Intel, if it hasnt been decimated and sold off by then, will be just another rent-a-fab company.

Nor does it become corruption because money was thrown at politicians.

It becomes corruption when politicians pass laws and regulations because of that money.

I dont live in the Seattle area so I dont know which politicians are responsible for granting the Seattle monopolies without some sort of public compensation (such as contractually good internet service) but I do know that if I lived there I would know exactly who was responsible. Its probably the city council thats holding the keys to the franchise agreements but thats not always the case.

    The current Seattle city council:

    Councilman Lisa Herbold, Democrat
    Councilman Bruce Harrell, Democrat
    Councilman Kshama Sawant, Socialist Alternative
    Councilman Rob Johnson, Democrat
    Councilman Debora Juarez, Democrat
    Councilman Mike O'Brien, Democrat
    Councilman Sally Bagshaw, Democrat
    Councilman Tim Burgess, Democrat
    Councilman Lorena González, Democrat

If its not the city council then the next most likely person responsible is the cities Mayor or a member of his office:

    Mayor Ed Murray, Democrat

Vote out the fuckers responsible, even if they are a member of your favorite party. If the State of Washington steps in like they did in Tennessee, then start voting out the State legislature as well. Form a community action group. Spread the word that these franchise agreements are why these fucks are going to lose their next election.

I think (1) is mainly the problem of the voters in those cities who dont know that they can easily vote out the corrupt people that give cable companies unconditional monopolies (usually the city council grants these absurd monopolies.) Often these city-dwellers will complain about their shitty service and then suggest some sort of national technical solution to their "speed problem" instead of a local solution to their corruption problem.

    (2) is just the way it is. If there are only 5 houses within a mile of you... too bad. If you want the benefits of living out in the middle of nowhere, then you have to also accept the downsides.
