If a company wants to sell cheaper food it should be able to do it by not having to get licensed with the FDA. Not having a license has nothing to do with safety of food, that part comes from the market and desire to stay in it by selling to customers, but it has everything to do with maintaining an oligopoly in food production and sales.
OSHA has nothing to do with safety in the work place, but it a tax, it is part of the reason that there are so few actual manufacturing and generally productive jobs in USA.

Because the more skilled labour is within your borders, the more offer there is for labour, the lower the prices are but this means that investors can actually hire people (yes, at lower prices), but given the unsustainable trade deficit, you want as much labour to be actually occupied within your borders in productive capacity as possible, because you want to be able to balance out that trade deficit and actually pay down the debt.

USA government isn't even authorised to limit people from coming in and working without some government official allowing them in the first place! Article 1 section 8 of USA Constitution says: Congress is authorised to regulate commerce with foreign nations, but individuals are not nations and if they come in and work inside the country they are not actually even engaged in Interstate and cross-border commerce.
My point is that this is one more thing that the government is doing that is illegal for it to do - limiting people's ability to move anywhere they want and work anywhere they want and where their abilities can be employed. It doesn't matter that they are not US citizens, actually nothing in Article 1 section 8 states that Congress has the right to prevent anybody from moving in and out of States unless they are a foreign occupying military force.

For Germany of-course it was a direct consequence of the WWI and the currency and trade wars that followed, which weakened the economy (and Germany was on the wrong path towards a version of socialism already, they had Marxists replaced with right wing socialists, who differed in the means (national socialism rather than international Marxist version) but not the ends (destruction of private property rights, destruction of individualism and humanism, theft and redistribution, in reality right wing socialism is what led to nazism and the Italian version of corporatism (fascism) fit into that idea very neatly).
So it was unfortunate that the WWI and WWII started, they were a result of terrible government socialist ideology, but yes, once they started the wars, they had to be stopped. But it doesn't mean that my point is invalid!

Trade wars follow currency wars and lead to hot wars. In the interim they lead to higher prices (wage is also a price) thus to higher unemployment and more outsourcing. More unemployment fuels the negative popular sentiment, worsens the economy and feeds this self-perpetuating cycle, which gives politicians more ammunition to destroy freedoms (and this legislature is destroying ppls freedoms) and this brings closer the inevitable conflict. All such measures end up hurting the economy but politicians get more power and preferred lobbying companies get to raise prices in and steal from the market by joining the political power.
Be aware of this, don't fall into a trap believing this is good for you or the economy, it's not. It hurts the economy and thus it hurts you.
