Don't feel bad. I once shipped a chrome firewall for a baja bug I was building. These firewalls were made out of pretty sturdy sheetmetal (3/16" thick if I remember right) and packed in a sturdy flat cardboard pack. I had ordered a bunch of other parts as well.
I get the shipment and all the boxes are accounted for except for the firewall. In it's place is a box that is way to small to be the firewall. I open it up, and sure enough, it's the firewall, folded neatly in half at the tape seam. =)
Either the incredible Hulk folded that, or they would have had to jump up and down on it to get it folded. I did have to hand it to them, it was a neat fold right down the middle.
I did get my money back for it, although it took a few weeks.
Actually, they use Aruba for thier wireless, it is an awesome system. I've implemented it a couple of times and it rocks!
hehe, I thought I was the only one... =)
