I just got a Kangaroo portable PC with an x5-z8500 and put Fedora 23 on it without issue, except for sound which comes thru the HDMI port. Haven't figured that one out yet but haven't done a full summit attempt. Anyone know the trick? It works with the Windows10 that came with it, shows up as Intel SST Audio Device in the Device Manager.
I get at least 10% better on the highway using no ethanol premium in my Mustang GT. I took a bit to find a no ethanol station but after I did I became a loyal customer.
When you consider that Fenimore Cooper was not a professional writer and only started his writing career after complaining to his wife about a book he did not like to which she told him to write one himself, I think Twain should cut him some slack. Just sayin...
Powershift - Alvin Toffler Published in 1990, might be interesting to see how his predictions fared.
The Third Wave - Alvin Toffler Published in 1980, the second book of the trilogy.
Future Shock - Alvin Toffler Published in 1970, my introduction to the fact that there were books other than SF worth reading.
I see he has written another, Revolutionary Wealth, which I must now go acquire.

Fedora 20 Released

I have two boxen with Arch and two with Fedora (19 and Beta20), I use the Fedora as my 'personal' machine and keep/home on a separate partition to make staying up with the 6 month cycle easier, although I do skip the occasional release. I had my parents on a Fedora box, but quickly saw that I needed a longer term, lower maintenance solution, and have them on Arch for several months now. I switched from Crux to Arch years ago but got off it when I had some update breakage issues or something that peeved me (or caught my eye elsewhere, so many distros, so little time and all that), but have been toying with it again for a year or so and it is rock solid and no throwing the baby out with the bathwater, so far. Anywho, to make a short post long, Arch is a good idea for someone who doesn't mind getting a little grease under their fingernails now and then.
Thanks for that post Matt, there's still a few old skool folks about that like this stuph./. has a lot of noise, but there's still some signal in there now and again.
you know how sometimes you run into a word a few times, then don't see it for years, then this word pops into your head for some unknown reason and a day or two later, BOOM!, there it is. kinda freaky. anywho, the word in this case is 'remunerated', which you misspelled here 'renumerated', which is kinda how it was brought to my attention years ago. and stay off my lawn.
I've got 2 FreeRunners, one with a broken screen, and I'm seriously thinking about getting a GTA04 and new screen for some fun. But jeez, that's some expensive fun. I also switched to an N900 when it became apparent that the OpenMoko wasn't quite ready for dependable everyday use.
Well, I'm from Arkansas, and from here the only problem I see with Texas is... it's full of Texans! JK, I have lived in the D/FW area and worked in the Houston area and the folks there are just like everywhere else, smart ones, dumb ones, nice ones, mean ones, etc.
I've been a Gnome user since the pre-October Gnome days and I booted Fedore 15 for about 5 minutes before shutting it down. Since then I have tried XFCE and KDE and I'm still running KDE on my new sandy bridge (not my everyday box yet). I remembered the other night about the reception for Gnome 2 and it was not pretty. Anywho, I just booted Fedora 16 and it's not so bad, I'm gonna run it on this little Atom for awhile and see if it grows on me. He likes it! Hey Mikey!

Good luck with that.

Spot on, I tried to tell walter this in a different forum and it didn't register, apparently.
Hi Walter! Funny Cin U here
Maybe because there were very few people in the world at the time who could even understand, much less critique, the ideas put forth by these men.

In my defense, I was being facetious playing on the meme, he can take as long as he wants, it's his baby.
Quit playing D&D and finish the Ice and Fire already.

That's because you can't see him in the book, but in the movie, you can, so he wore it while filming. Silly.
