    Buying goods in DK can be expensive, as they have pretty high VAT (25% i think). Their citizens are likely to nip into Sweden or Germany for hi techery..

    Denmark`s pretty cool. You could pop into Christiana, and trade both w33d & mp3`s and its pretty much tolerated! This is the country which was the first (in the world? certainly europe) to allow same sex marriage and other funky progressive ideas. It is also free from annoying pro-US tendancies, unlike England (gawd bless `er).

    He may do. Depends if the law in the country this incident allegedly happened in is similar to UK law, which understands the concept of an `agent` working for a company. This person DOES carry the weight of the company behind them. If (s)he says something, the company says something.

    Ok, but lets not forget that we was a friend of Mandela, and they both defended the use of violence. (I`m not saying this is a bad thing).

    This should be borne in mind before people agree to, for example, UK proposals to make illegal the support for foreign `terror groups`. There`s a chance that it would have made protesting and showing support for the ANC illegal.

    ET? My god that was a masterpiece compared to some of the licenses on the Amiga!

    Does anyone remember any of the millions of 2d platformers? Ocean were one of the worst culprits, although by no means the worst.
    I think the games were actually the same, there was a low performance engine which could handle about 5 things moving at the same time, and that was in about 5 frames!

    its just a language (Colour vs Color thing) - get used to it!

    I`m always going to call someone who enters other peoples computer a Hacker, and someone who removes copy protection a cracker, and so are, I imagine, most of Europe.

    Mod me down for being un-American if you like, but its the way it is!

    We`ll just have to learn to get along with each other!

    He probably meant some java script stops you from right-clicking and saving. You`ll have to save the whole webpage, then remove the javascript, then view it and right click. (or just find the graphic file when you originally saved the whole page).

    The amiga power supplies were cool in winter - one for each foot (if you had a A-590 hd).

    It seems that often the fans are back to front - i believe its more optimal to have the air being sucked out of the case - if you have the fan pulling air in, then surely you are heating up that air in the psu, and passing it on to the other components?

    good point. actually, i toyed with pre (i`m scared to put slashes and things in my posts now!) once, and it used a differenct font, so i stopped! I`m not really a html coder though!

    The solution is to boycott journals who allow errors to creep in. How hard can it be to import a pdf/html/ps file and print it?? What are they being paid ridiculous amounts of money for if its not taking person A`s work, printing it and selling it to person B?
