Because for one, by law adolescents cannot legally consent to a sexual relationship with an adult (depending on various states law) and animals are incapable of consenting. This is an old, tired, and idiotic argument.
I'm tired of the constant bitching from people who will never buy an iPhone. There is plenty of competition in the marketplace. For the record, I'm plenty geeky, I build my own PCs, My netbook runs Ubuntu, but I also don't care about the "openness" of my new iPhone. It does exactly what I need it to do, it runs the apps/games I want, and plays the media I have.
You want an Android? Knock yourself out. I hear it's a decent phone OS as well.

The article is about building a "Hackintosh". Silly me, I assumed the topic at hand would be running the OS on native hardware.

There isn't any DRM in OS X either. It's a matter of drivers, and EFI.

Until (relatively recently) you *couldn't* run Windows on a Mac. Saying Apple has a monopoly is absurd. That's like saying Commodore had an monopoly on the Amiga OS because it only ran on their hardware.
Apple provided "bumper" cases, which this article specifically states do not cause the problem. They did offer 3rd party cases for sale on their site, but they are not the cases that Apple gave to customers.
Oh cry more. How about the assholes who keyed my car for having a pro-choice bumper sticker?
Of course right-wingers *NEVER* do anything like this. Newsflash: Some people are assholes, and some just hide behind AC status.
Which means more cheapskates would come down to Portland to shop.
Says the AC
"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--for ever." - one of Rand's paid employees took that quote to heart.
The U.S. does not have an official language, and learning English is not a requirement of citizenship.
Nice to see you have the courage of your convictions, AC
Spoken as someone who has no clue as to what the "Fairness Doctrine" was.

You mean the 9/11 troofer?
Yes it can, I certainly don't have a problem doing do.
Oh no, I'm not geeky enough for you, how ever will I survive?

Better never than late.
RealID is for people you TRUST you dipshit. Think one of your friends is likely to screw you over? Don't give the info to them.
Still not a requirement for raiding tho. That requirement is totally player-driven.
How is that Blizzard's fault? Neither GS nor achievements are actually built-in requirements for raids.
To use your abhorrent analogy, they never "hit" anyone. The policy was never implemented. They listened to their customers, how terrible of them.
