As a note, it only works with Exchange 2000. Check what version you are running... if you are using an older version of exchange, then it won't do you any good. We talked to them a few months ago, and they said they weren't planning on doing ports to older versions of exchange, so...
Actually, they were navigators. He looks at them at one point, after one of them drops the contact lens from his eye, and says something to the lines of "You're navigators, both of you, aren't you?" to which they agree.
I don't understand why both movies mutated the navigators into something freaky. In the book, Paul meets up with two navigators in the Emperor's force on Arrakis (at the end of the book). The only way he knows that the are navigators is because they have blue-in-blue eyes. THAT'S IT. They are two normal looking dudes (one fat, one skinny) in grey guild uniforms and with blue eyes that they try to hide with contact lenses. Where's the mutated wing-thingie/fish-thingie come from?
That was Gurney Halleck. Idaho was killed in the
Ecological Station, after meeting up with Kynes, Jessica and Paul. In the book, he died fighting off a hoarde of Sardaukar; here, he ate a missile.
There were a few accuracy issues... for example,
they got rid of the water merchant's daughter during the banquet scene, and replaced her with Irulan. Also, a lot of the lines were spoken by the wrong characters... I found that annoying. I figured there'd be changes; that much is pretty much par for the course. However, I didn't like
that they transposed lines.
I think that was what disgusted me most about them. Not only do they ignore much of what was said in the original DUNE books, they ignore what they write as well. One example: (Yes, this is a spoiler, if you care) They go through some effort to point out several times that Gurney's sister's voicecords have been cut out so that she can't scream when being tortured. Yet, when she sees Gurney captured in the slave pits, what does she do? She screams. What gives?
There were many other things of this nature. I don't remember them in enough detail to write down, though; that one just stuck in my mind due to its sheer obviousness.
At the place where I work, we were given flex time with a condition: Our manager was okay with whatever schedule we came up with, as long as we put in our hours and make sure that SOMEONE is here during the required coverage hours. It makes things extremely flexible, and yet provides the coverage that the managers want.
Actually, I had a Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) phone for a long time. They have terrible coverage (atleast in the NY metro area, which is where I am located). The phone works great as long as you
are within the city itself, but outside of it, coverage becomes really spotty. I switched to AT&T, and that works pretty much anywhere. If Verizon can't get a good coverage going in the New York region, I don't trust it to work anywhere else.
I saw the movie. I sort of enjoyed it (mainly because on occaision, I get a craving to see a really bad movie, and that was it). I do have one good thing to say, though; it actually managed to stay true to the book (and it was a good book) which is something most book adaptions don't manage.
I thought this was probably one of the most enjoyable animes (not the best, though). I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, so... The original series was the better one, but that is only on VHS, not DVD.
Just guessing from the URL (bearfabrique), it seems fairly obvious that the whole site is full of made up stuff (fabrications... duh.) I'm fairly certain that this is for amusement value only. I hope, atleast.
The mass of a continent (even Pangea) is miniscule compared to the mass of the rest of the planet, especially when you consider that continents are made of the least dense stuff in the planetary mass (which is why they "float" on top). This shouldn't significantly change the orbit or gravity at all... what would be much more significant in terms of gravity change (although I still doubt it would be all that noticible) is the altitude of the dinosaur. (i.e. gravity is definately less on the Tibetan Platau than in New York City).
Near me (I live on Long Island, New York), you can walk into a 7-11 (24 convienence store) and pick up a disposable sprint pcs phone whenever you want. Then, just keep on buying the pre-paid phone cards, and plugging thier number into the phone.
It's kind of expensive though, prepaid minutes aren't cheap. The phone itself is about $100.
I agree that this should definately be published. If a few poeple don't want their comments included, then that is their right... Don't include them. On the whole, though, it seems that most people don't mind. Publish it with whatever the posters allow. It might not be as strong as if it had been published with all that you wanted, but at least it got published.
Using any box with mutt running on it:
- mutt imaps://user@imap.aol.com
- tag everything using "t"
- hit "b" (bounce all tag messages to:)
username@gmail.com
And you're done.
I haven't done this with AOL, per say, but I did it with a few other imap mailboxes I had to transfer everything to gmail.

Uhm... wierding modules weren't in the book. They
were made up for the first movie.
bad publicity from a public trumpeting of their misdeeds may influence people to make other OS choices.
Not a chance... people will buy what they can use. Why do you think Mac's are still around? People believe that they are easy to use.

The books are even inconsistent with themselves.
