Sure, Apple does turn in billions of dollars of cash profit each quarter ($3074MM) but Microsoft rakes in even higher profit ($4006MM). Both are publicly traded companies so data is there for everyone to see. Please don't be taken in with sweeping generalities.
This would be restricted by number of unique genetic-sample they can find. If they have 10 samples then generating 100 mammoth will not result in any more genetic diversity than 10.
Unless they find some artificial way of introducing diversity in the sample themselves.
