I personally find it pretty easy to find stuff thanks to the search and being able to sort by ratings or inclusion date.
Where is fails is the fact there is *so* much shit to sifting through if you want to browse to discover something new and not looking for something specific especially in the games category.
I don't want to see Apple-like super control over the content but fuck me, do we really need a zillion nude girls card games and other shitty variations on the same awful content? It's not like any of them offer something over the other that can make a case for all of them being there. They are all usually from the same company just spamming the market place with same rubbish.
Maybe the option is to allow people to block apps from every showing up in any sort of search on an app by app basis and stop companies from uploading the same exact app to get around this?
Freedom seems to work well on PCs but why do phones get lumped with so many shitty apps even when companies show some sort of control?
I think the whole set is awesome. I'm on the look out now for a way to grab all the originals. I'd consider writing something myself but a couple hours with whisky makes my attention span for coding go right out the door!
I've not been impressed with some of Oracle's moves. I'd actually have been happy if they fucked with MySQL. I'd like to see Postgres over take MySQL and oracle could have helped but instead they seem keen to shit on everything else. It will be interesting to see what they do with Java.
There isn't a reason for most people to pay out the money for Office. Open Office will do fine for the vast majority of people. They should realise this and save some money.
MS is going to out do Chrome by adding precise controls to allow users to decide which malware IE runs. When will Chrome offer the user such freedom and control?
I did watch ID at the theatre and I do own it on DVD so I've watched it once or twice over the years. It's acceptable enough to watch once in a blue moon but one sequel, let alone two, would be fucking awful.Especially since Will Smith continually gets worse, imo. I hope this is a joke.
