I am a firm believer of mindless entertainment... and most games coming out today aren't mindless! I would take a good game of pool or darts over this complicated shit box any day!
What geek actually *leaves* their computer?!? I mean really, how useful are these stupid things? Even for business people who spend their life in meetings... these little toys take ten times that of a pencil and notepad. Computers are great when you use them practically.
Any true audiophile I know knows that CD's are a dieing technology. This is a system for somebody who is into toys. Not somebody who truly enjoys accurate music. (Who would most likely go with records anyway) But what about SACD's? Practically records without the hiss and imperfections. What about 5.1 audio too? I highly doubt they will find a way to make a system with another storage to hold the kind of information stored on future technologies.
Only choice you say? I don't know about you, but I'm paying 50$ a month for a *dedicated* 786K/sec down stream connection. I choose my own ISP, which was very Linux friendly. (aracnet.com) I don't know why somebody would rather have a cable modem.
In two clicks from Janes site, I got to Lycos, which from there it's fairly easy. (even without searching) I was going to try...but would that be considered a waste of time? anywho, point understood.
Just wondering, who would want to buy the jet from you? And better yet, who would want to buy the jet from you, when they could spend 700$K and get it from pepsi.:)
I would have to say, dealing with ISP's, you get what you pay for. If MS wants to offer Free net' access, let them. The service will turn to crap. (Like it already isn't) Local ISP's have always been better than national ISP's, and always will.

A search for "porn" took 20 seconds... I don't think this search engine is up to snuff for the internet. :)

Well, thier price of 50$ for a 'regular' mouse is pretty darn good considering some ball mouses M$ makes cost 70$.
