yeah, sometimes I forget which password I reused, or whether I made a unique password for that system. fortunately I haven't run into draconian treatment thereof yet.
Citizens brings up additional verification questions when their online banking system doesn't recognize the computer you're logging in from (by IP, MAC or whatever, I'm not sure). If it's a computer you intend to use again, you can have the system skip that step for that computer in the future.
so it isn't quite as obvious to guess, I make my answer to the security question a clue to what the literal answer would be, rather than putting in the literal answer itself. For example, "what's your favorite number" might be answered as "Douglas Adams" rather than "42".
remembering what you used but forgetting how you phrased it sucks too.

I have wondered if the Bills making prudent draft picks for once was a sign of the apocalypse. (failed draft picks have not helped the team's suckitude the past few years. I can see why they went for building up their defense this time - Fitzpatrick is a decent QB and his offense at least a few times put up a lot of points only to see the defense allow even more points.)
That reminds me of this: I was arguing of profiling on grounds of practicality, political correctness be darned, and the debate partner responded with something like "Osama would then just find someone who didn't look Middle Eastern."

I was off the 'net for a few days after moving (didn't fully take the http://xkcd.com/466/ route). I did have access at work, but I believe in getting a fair amount of work done at work.:P Also, there are certain things that don't belong in a work environment, whether or not the IT policy specifically forbids them.
Because she's famous, it increased the risk that people would access the records unnecessarily, and this behavior seemed like a logical response to manage that risk.
My experience with SAP is that some of my classes tried to introduce us to it from a user/manager perspective, so I don't know about the technical backend, but I agree about the epically shitty UI.
even if one's main supply is streaming it off the Internet (YouPorn et al), IMHO it makes sense to save a bit of it locally anyway (maybe your favorites amongst the stuff you find when combing the streaming sites and such)
I thought Google+ and aliases didn't get along.

Chase doesn't do this.

Even the US military academies (Air Force, Army, Navy), where the scholarship is in exchange for a military service commitment, are NCAA participants.
dig this song; its lyric sure fit the discussion theme here:

Did you ever think that just maybe
We’re supposed to be a little bit crazy
Can it be?
We’re really this mentally diseased?
OCD narcissistic, manic depressive slit your wrists
Hyperactive ADD, generalized anxiety
Drug addicts, agoraphobic
Panic attacks, we’re all just so sick
In the head, need medicine quick
Gotta stock up on prescription slips
Had a breakdown of a nervous kind
Pop a little xanax to unwind
Paranoid schizo half the time
Bipolar and borderline
Way fucked up when it comes to sex
Shit dick cunt that’s tourette’s
Stay in bed, we’re too depressed
Post traumatic stress effects
Bulimics barf, anorexics starve
Fast food binge inside our cars
Multiple personalities
Like hi it’s I, myself, and me
We got trichotillomaniacs
And autistic braniacs
All insaney to the max
So doped up on prozac packs
Histrionic plus delusions
Tangled dendrites, mad confusion
Klepto narcoleptic
All psych wards so antiseptic
Take your Zoloft, Paxil
Wellbutrin, Cymbalta, homie
What you using?
Ativan and Lexapro
Don’t act like you do not know
Did you ever think that just maybe
We’re supposed to be a little bit crazy
Can it be?
We’re really this mentally diseased?
As I stare at an ink blot
Thinking why I think the thoughts I think
Paying 20 g’s a year straight to my shrink
To analyze me on a couch
And while he’s zoning out
I’m tuning in to my inner child
So that explains why I get wild
On the weekend drinking no tomorrow
Sleep around to ease my sorrow
And it all relates to what happened in second grade
I am told there is a name for what is wrong inside my brain
And that fact alone makes me feel like I’m hardly that insane
I’ve undergone psychoanalysis
My dreams all full of phalluses
Psychotropics I imbibe
So happy to be prescribed
What I get from Pfizer’s not much different from Budweiser
In the end, you and I just fated to pretend
I've heard "it's a warning, not a manual" before, about 1984, but it works here too.
As for seeing BNW positively, I've even done that sometimes.
Some people don't understand that there's too much of a good thing.
The BNW world first tried a society of all Alphas, but it didn't work (the intelligentsia not tolerating menial labor? been there done that.)
I long since saw BNW as excellent sci-fi: not only well-written tehcnology but also a well-written discussion of its effects upon society.
I also noticed a dig at the consumerism, since a desire for overly complicated games was one thing pushed via the social indoctrination
I read that as hyperbole about the power of the medications, and perhaps how they leave you in a zombified state.
"Keep the money coming and nothing happens to the nukes" - comment I heard somewhere about Pakistan

to clarify: in the US, fanny is slang for buttocks, in Britain it's slang for vagina

I think it was basically a pun on another meaning of the FPGA acronym.
Tom Lehrer's "Wernher von Braun" song, as one satirical example of science being divorced from ethics.
like how some tech started out with military funding because that's where the money is?
Another case of abusing a tragedy after the fact for political purposes, in this case by militant Zionists?
I don't want to support Palestinian terrorists either, but I'm starting to doubt that the US government should be behind the Israeli government 110%.

Yes, that's part of the idea - to try and whip a company into shape w/r/t best practices.
My experience with SAP is that some of my classes tried to introduce us to it from a user/manager perspective, so I don't know about the technical backend, but I agree about the epically shitty UI.
SAP implementation is a mess even in the civilian world - and then throw military procurement bureaucratic issues into the mix?
also, A) seems like using a cheat code (even if you're not cheating in the adultery sense of the word)
even if one's main supply is streaming it off the Internet (YouPorn et al), IMHO it makes sense to save a bit of it locally anyway (maybe your favorites amongst the stuff you find when combing the streaming sites and such)
what if A) is illegal where you live, and travel to someplace where it's legal is impractical?
