I hardly care about enforcing against piracy, but id like to point out that natonalism is very last-generation and will die with our parents. Communication, globalization, and information access has dissolved the imaginary walls we earthlings once put up. One world democratic order is a good and welcome thing; and once we cooexist it will be comical to learn of the trivial differences people once had.

It is in the 19 September 2009 publication of the Journal of Experimental Botany.

Plasmid based expression, or transgenic expression, in yeast or E. coli, or tomatoes (no plasmid in tomatoes) would not likely require more than one dedicated lab and a couple months-years of research.

Or someone could use Agrobacter tumefasciens (common agricultural gmo tool), to add the genes to common targets like, say, tobacco plants, for those future California consumers....

It sounds like its just not cool to talk about netbooks as being handy when the new (not so new) iPad product is being marketed so hard into spongy minds of trust fundies.

You simply cannot talk about marijuana in the same conversation as alcohol and tobacco because the societal harms from marijuana are almost completely unseen, while for alcohol we have horrid outcomes, and the health damage from tobacco smoke literally eating our medical system and lives to pieces.... And I'm sure I don't have to remind you that people who do smoke marijuana smoke far less material than those who smoke cigarettes (generally).

The truth is, there are many homeopathic solutions that are not only socially supported, but are also scientifically backed. Those that are actually backed by reproducible results are more preferred by homeopaths because the product is likely a natural derivative that they generally feel at ease with.

There are also many pharmaceutical solutions that are not only scientifically proven, but also have scientifically proven side effects and long-term results that are not desirable... effects that are sometimes worse than going without the medication, or that are not seen with the homeopathic 'equivalent' that likely does not give the results to the potency/calibre of the pharmaceutical... so the homeopathic solution is usually weaker, if it actually works, but has less side effects -- and the pharmaceutical solution is often very effective, but may cause more harm than good in the long term.

The balance one should find is not to assume that either solution is the best and to consider each on an individual basis. And while most people using homeopathic solutions have made those considerations, people who are quick to disregard homeopathic solutions usually do not -- assuming immediately that big rich businesses *must* be doing the best possible thing, or that no natural solution could actually exist.
    ------------
I should also note that many pharmaceuticals are also concentrations of compounds found in nature. And also that any possible thing you find on earth can be toxic, depending on the concentration. You may notice that homeopathic solutions are the natural extract, containing a bunch of things that are not in the pharmaceutical, and the active ingredient being in lower concentration --- while the pharmaceutical solution is a strong concentrated form with no other materials going into the body.

I want to make a point here. I know many-a-commenter likes to equate the democrats and republicans, saying they are both pro-corporate, and both *equally* bad for us. And yet when I see roll calls on votes, as you will see here, there is a striking trend among the issues that most americans (of all parties) are not getting represented correctly on.... Take a look. You'll see it right away unless you're in denial. Squint your eyes... Have a look.

Yes.. you see some dems on YEAS. and you see some repubs on NAYS. But what you *really* see as a whole is that the republicans are consistently selling us out.

So go ahead, attempt to equate the parties, but on issues like this, the truth is absolutely clear, them dems are definitely the lesser of two evils. Spread the word, and if you're a republican, at least accept the truth. Please. And then go ask your representative why they are always selling you out.
