iCE was one of the first out there to be a big ANSi ART group and they are almost the only ones left. ACiD (which was better) is still around and doing great VGA art and still some ANSi stuff... I really want the BBSes back, those were the days!!
Actually I've seen NT crash while sitting there, running nothing (many times). And the longest I've had my NT box was 20 days, and my Linux box has now been up well over 70 with no trouble.
This world is based on one thing... paper. If you have that then it says that your worth somthing. You should be able to gain a hi-tech job without going through all the mumbo-jumbo. But also you learn a lot at college that could help you get that better job. True you could learn it on the job (better and faster)...
Ok, I got it now... Get the hi-tech job and go to college at the same time. Now that's the way to do it!

I have a Scanport 36bit scanner running on a parallel port. The scanner can go between SCSI and parallel and I have tried it on both systems. The driver CD says it has "Unix" drivers, I installed and they didn't even come close to working. I contacted Scanport and they said that they "no longer support Unix systems"... wow, maybe I should try using some SCSI drivers on that thing.
just create something that works through a firewall. AOL-IM works fine but ICQ dosen't even get close to working through my firewall, all their firewall config doesn't do a thing!
