Science corrects itself after finding new facts, no news at 11.

Besides, wether or not global warming is caused by humans isn't the important bit, the important bit is that we learn to understand the dynamics of our only place to live, Earth, and how to prepare for the future.
If global warming is real, it's important that we know what this will bring in the future, what the effects will be on the weather, the oceans, the wild life,...
And even if it's not actually warming, the science that goes into studying this will serve us in the future.

The fact is, we don't have a full understanding of the dynamics involved, all studies i've seen seem to indicate there is in fact global warming, and frankly, i don't care whom or what caused it, i want to know how we're preparing for the next day.

You know, you could, i don't know, buy a phone? I don't really know how it's in the States, but here in Belgium you can walk into any old store and buy a phone that comes from the manufacturer directly, no network lock-in, no crapware (other then what the manufacturer installed) and best of all, it's *yours*.

I own a HTC Legend, i don't need to jailbreak it to use it.

There's a problem though, it's called collateral damage. Say you have a server hosted in a small collocation firm, one of their clients gets targeted by the MPIAA and they start DDoS'ing him, they might end up taking the small collocation firm down with the purported pirate.

I'm a pretty moral guy, but i do pirate dvd's (and cd's for the same reasons) every now & then, for several reasons:

    1) I already have the dvd but it got damaged
    2) It's no longer available
    3) They refuse to sell it in my country (or i have to wait 6 months before the European release, fuck that)
    4) I'm not sure if it's worth any money yet

Basicly, if the dvd is any good, and the price is good, then i'll buy it, sadly, i haven't had to buy many dvd's these days, most of what comes out is crap.
    Is this legal? No.
    Is it immoral? No
