    From then on all you'll see is a dialog box that pops up saying "Do you want to buy this? YES NO" Peopel will just hit yes and barely think about. Since all the info is already in Hailstorm, you won't need to retype your cc.

    Better yet why bother with the dialog box? You click it you've bought it...errr leased it... Goes even futher towards making your forget you're paying every time you open a file or watch a video.

    At the core of Media Metrix is its patented, proprietary meter-based software technology which works with the PC operating system and the Web browser to capture, page by page, click by click, all user activity. The meter captures World Wide Web, proprietary online usage (e.g. AOL), and all other ad-supported programs, as well as all hardware and software usage and ownership.

    It monitors everything you do with your computer? I don't imagine many people outside of aol users would agree to having that installed.

    And of course it's closed source and I'm willing to bet windows only.

    Diablo 2 and Age of Empires 2 used SafeDisc 1.SafeDisc2 which IIRC was first seen with Red Alert 2 is probably what Myst III uses.

    I mean come on do I care if someone can read all of my mouse movements? The keyboard is certinally a bigger issue but as long as your at your desk I don't really see the point in a wireless keyboard anyways.

    Nope it's down frequently. Another reason not to go for a thinkpad(although I like mine just fine)

    Or at least they do here at RPI. I'm sure many other unsupported operating systems work fine. After reading the support page it doesn't seem like they are saying that a thinkpad will refuse to boot if you install any unsupported OS but that if it does it your own damn problem.
