Woe to anyone using an intel video card! Right now we're experiencing random lockups, and performance has generally been subpar for a lot of people. I'm not sure how stable UXA is yet, earlier it was causing a lot of lockups.
Your computer doesn't interface on the quantum level, either. We know brains don't because while there's a lot we don't know, we DO know a bit about synapses, neurons, etc. There's NO evidence at all of quantum effects on the neural level.
How would free will be explained on the quantum level? Randomness or probability doesn't account for free will, either. Free will is simply magic of the mind, a sort of god-of-the-gaps for not knowing the complex web of the interaction between heredity and environment and the many antecedent events acting upon it.
Homosexuality is and isn't a choice. The behavior is a choice, but the actual attraction is not. If I could choose who I was sexually attracted to then I would make myself asexual because like most Slashdot nerds I ain't gettin' any.
Ask yourself a simple question: if homosexuality were not a choice, why are the two most common insults directed at anyone who is against public promotion of homosexuality "well you must be in the closet" and "you must be afraid you'll try it and like it"? The mask slips just a tad too often, showing that the "it's not a choice" propaganda is pure lies.
This is because, or at least because it is perceived to be true, that many gay men in the closet deny their homosexuality for social reasons and to try to hide it or excuse for it or "make up for it" they crusade against homosexuality which they have been brought up to think is wrong. Does Ted Haggard ring a bell...?
If the Kremlin had learned what our prototypes looked like at that point, the russian economy probably would have been much stronger, they never would have embarked on those economic reforms that backfired, and they eventually would have won the cold war.
From what I've heard, that's true. French people, by reputation, are incredibly intolerant of English speakers, particularly Americans. Americans are less bigoted towards the French than the French are towards Americans, from what I hear. Anyone have any anecdotes related to this?
Fat, greasy, smelly nerds with mustard stains on their dragon shirts, pot bellies, and techno soundtrack in their car... the new face of terrorism? No wonder law enforcement is up in arms, being as most police officers were the jocks they're desperately afraid of REVENGE OF THE NERDS.
Also, SA as one of their hang out spots? All SA has is shitty photoshops and their own dumb internal memes. They're as irrelevant as genmay is, nowadays.
*The US-approved Iraqi-legal system. Regardless of whether you approve or disapprove, the government put in place was one specifically designed to be sympathetic to the U.S. government, so to imply that an entity impartial to the US gov's wants is silly
That's part of the interesting things about these new wars. As long as you fire on US troops, you're an enemy combatant--even if you're just a person defending his hometown.
Personally, I voted Barr/Root mainly because fiscal liberalism scares me and social liberalism just seems right (even though I wished that they had a better VP choice)
Gimmick. Unless Nintendo made it so only a game could only read its own save data, in which case BT couldn't recognize BKs? I don't know if that's true...
...but I guess that means Lightning lives.
LIGHTENING DIES, LOL

Are you two astronauts?
Free will doesn't need an "explanation." It's an incoherent concept.

Uh, I'm confused. If all the mail is running through his computer, isn't that directly the fault of the IT staff in the first place?
What was the point in your stupid comment?
Mod parent up. Research indicates that exposure to prenatal hormones in utero may be the largest factor in homosexuality.

I hope Apple doesn't enforce this provision too strongly.
I'll say. We were fucking working on OX CARTS.
I imagine if you did this stuff here in Omaha, you'd be arrested or fined for disturbing the peace.

In that case, what's truly "failing" is you.

Wow! That's -really- efficient! To process and collect those taxes takes resources as well, too.
Jews did Jack Louis.

So why did you vote for Barr again?
Better than the random bullshit kdawson puts up.

But yeah--probably gimmick.
Seeing how rogue so many police officers are, it might not necessarily be quite off the mark.
