lol, loving the jokes in this thread. I saw that ruler and was like, holy shit that's a big spider. Gotta show all my arachnaphobe friends. But 6 cm is still kind of large for spiders in the Chicago area. I'd make fun of my friends for being afraid of such small spiders but I really can't blame them. We have brown recluse and black widows just outside the city limits here. They tend to be smaller than the tip of my thumb but they CAN kill you with a bite. Necrosis is not a pretty sight.
Not saying you are lying (I'd love that you are correct) but do you or does anyone else here have a citation or proof that this works? ID3 metadata is incredibly easy to manipulate. If this is the case it should be very easy to cover your ass in this situation.
Seriously. I constantly fix computers for my friends and family and at least 90% of the time the problem with their computers is mcaffe or norton bogging down their systems. I throw on avg and/or malwarebytes instead. I've never even seen mcaffe or norton find a virus or malware before. AVG and malwarebytes I've gotten countless hits with.
So you get people hooked in with a free release, then hijack them after a year with no good downgrade path and thus no access to their data (modulo switching operating systems) unless they pay up?
Unless you have a linux livecd... Or another OS dualbooted on your computer... Or another computer to put the hard drive on... Or you save your data to another drive or media, which you should be doing in the first place since you already know that you won't be able to use the OS after a year...
It is depressing. That was my favorite series. I actually had the first one when it was still called Hero's Quest. The only one I never got to play was 5 (my computer at the time wasn't good enough to play it). I found a version of it recently but now my computer is too good to play it. I've been itching to finally get around to finishing the series since the game first came out.
as it stands if it's made by Kyocera I wouldnt even use it to wipe a cows ass.
Although I do agree with your feelings on Kyocera phones, I do have to wonder what you would use to wipe a cow's ass. And if it was a good phone why would you wipe a cow's ass with it? Inquiring minds would like to know.
The materials used in one type of reactor make waste. That waste is used in another type of reactor and so on. The waste can be used for quite some time. (ie. not likely to run out in our or our childrens' generation)
Oh, I was under the impression that pebble bed and accel. thorium were types of breeder reactors. My whole point was that nuclear technology has gotten out of the dark ages and needs serious reconsideration for the future.
Indeed, at the college I went to (UIC) I use to laugh at the bike cops. Then I found out they were all sheriffs and had fully automatic weapons at the station for when they responded to a call. "Yes, sir. No, sir." after I found that out.
Stop burning coal. This isn't the industrial revolution. It's 2009 for pete's sake. Breeder reactors. Pull your superstitions out of your brain and your heads out of your asses. B-R-E-E-D-E-R R-E-A-C-T-O-R-S!
I think I speak for everyone here on slashdot when I say
Fuck you!
Define the terms in the bill. List the checks and balances in this that will prevent a tyrant from encroaching on our constitutional rights. The supreme court really needs to start looking into this shit and start hacking apart these bills and laws that infringe on our freedoms. If not, they need to be replaced with people who will.
Lowered resolution to 1080p? Yes. Overly compressed copy online? Nope. Clearly you haven't tried to watch through comcast, then switch the wire to an antenna and compare the two. The compression is awful. The 720p version downloaded is almost always better quality than the 1080 sent by comcast. (think visual compression artifacts vs pixel resolution size)
A passthrough on the cable box that allows my tv to decode the HD itself would also solve this. Or to not charge extra to view something I've already paid for.

My Archos 5 can as well. And winamp plays those and almost all other formats natively (I think even ape now as well).

with 180Mbps being used by the UK government to spy on you.
It's in MP3 format ... with an Ogg Vorbis format version to follow next week
It takes a week to transcode the mp3 to ogg?

Science. It works bitches!

I'm almost 30 years old and I'm considered a young adult??? I assumed young adult meant like 18-20.
Any idea when the new version is supposed to be released?
'Pick me up'
Hmm... (grabs)
*POOF*
Can vacuum have a smell? Might the lack of any matter provide a certain stimulus to our olfactory receptors? Similarly, might a vacuum have a taste?
Yes. Blood. More specifically, your own.

Ah, typos can happen to the best of us. Let me FTFY.
It would have the added advantage that one 'incident' at the generator site would nut shot down the whole city.

I'll stick with both XP and linux. (until all my games run natively in linux that is...)
Cars crash and change with age. Windows XP does not.
I do not think that word means what you think it means...
+1 terrorism mod?
