I think he is afraid that so many people will post it as a reply to the FP (or something further up), by the time mods get to his post they will be tired of the suggestion.
All Christian denominations accept that there is only one Church (in a loose sense). They just disagree about which one that is.
The attitude seems to be that $DENOMINATION is right, and all others calling themselves Christian are misguided at best.
The fact that the stupid politicians in question happen to be Mormon is reasonably expected due to their location. Don't confuse cause with correlation.
Agreed. There is no shortage of imbeciles in this world. There are plenty to go around for every demographic, even Slashdot.

Are you sure? They might have all the bleeding-edge features in Minefield, but those features aren't in Shiretoko. Isn't it possible that they also haven't ported all of Shiretoko's speed tweaks back to Minefield?
Limewire connects to no more than 3 'supernodes' (or something like that), and if you buy Limewire Pro it will connect to 5.
Frostwire connects to 5, but you don't have to pay for it.
I have found AwesomeBar to be indispensable for fighting against the horrible UI changes happening at Slashdot. I used to click my username up in the corner to check on my comments, but now one gets that Firehose-like page, and you would need to click on the comments section to get to them. With AwesomeBar I just need to start typing 'comments' and the URL will come up.
How much money would you lose by not selling a product in a state as large as Texas?
Going strictly by population size? About 33% more than not selling in the New York metropolitan area.
This, of course, does not factor in the larger costs associated with being able to get a tech to anywhere in Texas compared to getting around New York City, the higher cost-of-living in New York, and other variables.
Why is my shirt red?
May I have the password to your /. account? I am pretty sure you aren't going to be needing it much longer.
Almost sounds like a decent human being, if not for the stigma of 'Assemblyman' for a title.
As a software developer, I'd be as genuine as a 3 dollar bill.
Here's the quickest way to getting that -1 you've always wanted:
vi or emacs?
This post is tl...
Sorry, that's about as far as I got before falling asleep.

One of them is a statement of fact that they do nothing to back up, the other one is an opinion...
...stated as fact.
Use Safari, Chrome, or Opera!
I should check the IIS version.

That site looks horrible. Ironically, according to the W3C's "Markup Validation Service" it has 21 errors with it's HTML. Less than Google's homepage.
The feedback button doesn't work, anyways.

Oh, and if you could do something - anything - about your 64bit linux support, that would be fantastic.
I call "releasing an alpha" doing something.
It's more than they have done for other 64-bit platforms, at least.
What's wrong with their 64-bit player, anyways? I haven't had any troubles with it since it became available.

I'll wait for the Frostwire release, thank you very much.
I can hear the whoosh from my basement.
And some friends that need rescuing before the star goes nova, because one of them is rather fixated on getting revenge on $BADGUY.
