I keep seeing two reactions here. 1) Laughter 2) This just isn't funny, stop it. You are destroying my day.
The second one is pretty sad. Just have fun, relax and enjoy the cheese. If you can't handle the humor, take a day long break from slashdot/userfriendly/segfault/etc. I'm sure everything will return to normal (which isn't that far from this anyway:)
As for me, it's a rainy day outside and I'm stuck at work for 8 hours, then I have a calc test. I'll take all the humor I can get:)
I guess is would have to agree. PSU isn't the most discriminating school. Course, being a state funded, land grant school, they really can't be.

Penn State not a real university? We service and area with 40,000+ students and hundreds of faculty and staff. Again, I'm only reporting from my experience, your mileage may vary.

I notice you took offence to my labeling a piece of equipment garbage, then took the flaming to the next level by attacking everyone who doesn't like that piece of equipment.:) My opinion was based on my pathetic little job as a sales and service rep for a State College, PA computer store. Not a week goes by where an iMac or two comes in with yet another problem. No other model (Mac or PC) seems to break down with that kind of regularity. Couple that with the fact that it is nearly impossible to upgrade, and you have (IMHO): an overpriced piece of garbage.
I have a pretty dim view of this group. They seem to only embrace liberal causes. And of course, I'm still waiting for them to start defending our second amendment rights:)
It is possible to win a suit against telephone harassment, why not e-mail harassment as well?
I remember reading a little snippet in TV guide about the show. It has a quote from the creator about how Tinky-Winky shows kids that "It's OK to be Gay". Personally I think Jerry AND the creator of the show are off their rockers:)
I first installed Linux three months ago. Over that time, I have replaced every single windows app with an open source, faster, better one for Linux. All but one, Quicken. I have high hopes for GNUmoney, but it just isn't ready yet (hello....get to work on the gtk version!). If this happens, I forsee many machines going to pure Linux (or maybe Linux/DOS for games). It seems that Quicken is the missing program for many of us.

Hey, maybe there is some hope for these over-hyped pieces of garbage after all.
:)
