Nope, because I don't have a bush/kerry sign in my yard. Frankly I do not understand how anyone who is even halfway informed can actually support either of these two.

Oh, and "because I want to beat the other guy who is nearly identical but just slightly worse" is a pretty poor excuse for voting for a bad candidate.

Someone should go around and put up "I'm not just idly standing by and watching this country go to hell, I am actively part of the problem" signs in yards with bush/kerry signs :)

Accept the looks, the possible comments, arguments, social ostracism that could result from your stand. Don't take the cowardly way out and just annoy people anonymously.
I am a bit amused that you complete invented the "caveman", physical violance", "might makes right" style arguments and then attributed them to me. I was not thinking (or saying) that at all.

You know the one, he is a Yale frat boy who was in the "secret" skull and bones society. He had a questionable service record that has been in the news lately. You know which guy I mean, the one that according to factcheck.org lied repeatedly throughout all three debates. Yup, that guy. The one that in his recent years of civic service has not improved this country at all, in fact has been accused of neglecting duty.

I don't buy it at all, but one piece bothers me a little. Back in late 2000 nobody at all was harping on "civil liberties" and "erosion of the constitution" that John talked about a lot with regards to his "upcoming civil war which had it's beginnings in 2005". However today that is quite the hot topic, and has been more and more since 9.11. Come to think of it, Mad Cow has been hitting the news more and more as well. Course it isn't hard to predict that the government will continue trampling on civil liberties and that disease will continue to spread.

A little civil war might not be bad for this country. Let's face it, the vast majority of Americans are cattle with no civic interest beyond the dog and pony show put on by the presidential elections every four years. And even then most people are going to vote for someone they do not like, who they do not agree with, just to prevent "the other guy" from getting elected.

Frankly the people who already purchased thousands of dollars of equipment and passed the required exams only to be fucked over by the FCC (suprise, we decided we don't care if your stuff works anymore) have a right to be royally pissed over this.
