A lot of "for profit" companies have already embraced what Amazon is doing. Many companies built their own healthcare facilities. They had to comply with OSHA requirements to test their employees for exposure to chemicals and manage on the job injuries so they brought it in house. Since they had the healthcare facility they started to assist their employees with all of their healthcare. Providing care for everything from sinus infections to long term illness management not only makes your employees healthy and happy it makes them more productive. It is a win all around.
So, we can agree that it's getting hotter right? Everyone says either we need to lower CO2 more than possible or that it's getting hotter because of outside forces. Either way, it's getting hotter. To say that it's nothing to worry about silly though. Sure the rock we live on survived past heating and cooling. You know, cause it's a rock. We should prepare for changes in climate the same way we prepare for increases in volcanic activity, hurricanes, or other changes in the weather AKA climate changes. Improve food production in harsh environments. Build dwellings that are energy efficient and safe from the elements. When you say we need to prepare for various destructive weather patterns people are chill and support you. You say climate change and they argue about coal.
It is a good analogy. I'd bet a dollar the people that work at quest also had labs done at quest. They had their data stolen too. Their house was broken in to and they were robbed. The assumption that they were negligent is just that. An assumption. We have no info on how the hackers got in. You can get all the pen testing, coverity scans, threat assessments, security updates, and highest encryption you can find but it doesn't mean you found it all. The people responsible here are the ones doing the hacking.
I like my DIR-825. I have openVPN on it to get to work. Two separate wireless networks. One for G, one for N. It was one of the fastest and most feature rich devices I could find. Even picked it up local at office depot for a decent price.
Like I said, he isnt selling any of that. I completely disagree with the idea of putting the government in charge of keeping wealth distributed. That isn't the form of government we are supposed to have.
You're not understanding his stance on things. It goes like this.
1. Cut government funding
2. Let Citizens keep their money rather than paying taxes
3. Solve your own problems. It is the government, not your mommy.
He isn't selling any dreams to you. He wants everyone to understand that the government has NOTHING to do with your dreams. It should be there to serve few purposes. Everything else in your life should be up to you.
I work for a company in Fort Wayne, IN as a software developer. We provide our software on an ASP model as well as technical support to our clients so besides software developers we have sys-admin down help desk people. I started here in '01 with no degree. Our current sys-admin has no degree. We've found that some of the brightest people just graduated high school and some of the dimmest just graduated college. I'm not saying college makes you stupid. It just doesn't make you intelligent. College tries to teach you, but you still have to put effort into learning. We have had to train college grads and non-grads alike. We are more interested in the ability for a person to learn new things, not their knowledge of current things.

Companies don't leak information. They are hacked. They are victims as much as the people whose info is stolen.
Webchartnow.com. yeah, shameless plug.
