At my uni, they assume we know no programming to start with and go from high-level to low-level languages. We start with Haskell, then Java, then C++ (and other languages). Couldn't this work for kids? There's nothing intrinsically hard about Haskell, assuming you have no imperative biases, and you learn all the good habits before you get to use a messy language where you can make stupid mistakes.
Couldn't you just make cars broadcast some kind of signal that can be picked up by a receiver the visually impaired can carry, thereby getting rid of most noise pollution?

The difference is that search engines give you information in milliseconds, which might encourage you to not remember (cache) things in the first place. Reference books take significantly longer to use, even if they're in your home.
I don't think his rights should be suppressed, I just think it's fucking ridiculous. If you want to make a good impression on the non-radical muslims, burning their holy book isn't the way to do it.
Or maybe it's because in the West food, and especially bad food, is easily available and cheap, and people don't have the willpower to take control of their diet, instead blaming it on the government, genetics and their upbringing.

Good job, you managed to get "public face" and "group" in the same headline. Who the hell is this guy?
Speak for your own democracy.
Couldn't they just convert the whole site and upload it to Wikia or something?

Neal Stephenson did it.
Don't they already own it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenix
They invented C#!

So? TCP/IP is 36 years old.

Technically, the Earth IS the center of the universe. It just depends on your point of view.
I don't think he does, which is why I think he's an idiot.
Because you're involved in two wars in Islamic countries and you're trying to get them to stop hating you?

I think he has a right to do it but I still think it's fucking stupid.
This isn't criticism. This is trolling, and all it will achieve is angering muslims who didn't have anything to do with 9/11 and help those who did.

And yet some are thin. How do you think they do it?
How do you think thin people do it?
Or, they could watch what they put in their mouths. Which is harder.
