Cool, another Pinto, but electric this time. I'm sure the story is overblown, but anything that stores energy is going to be a fire risk.

It was based off a study that was done some time ago. One of the findings was that for females, once they go past a certain weight (I don't remember what it was, and I don't feel like looking this up) they hit puberty. The CNN article you mention mentions obesity possibly being a factor for the early puberty. I think it must be referencing that study.

I RTFA since the summary is not very good, but I don't see any conclusive results as to who would be better with the imbalanced sample pool. It is very difficult to predict how the candidates will act once in power. I didn't expect that Bush would ignore the Constitution as bad as he did once he got in power, so we are still open to surprises for either candidate.

That is because children have much better nutrition than there used to be. As a result, they are able to reach puberty sooner because of better health.

Generally speaking the government doesn't want you having any privacy whatsoever so their automatic assumption is that you don't have rights unless the courts force them to acknowledge them. I don't think that the EFF and the ACLU are going to sit idle on this but lately the government (Dem controlled mind all you Obama-will-fix-everything believers) has been passing very repressive legislature. I fully expect there to be a lot more legislature in the pipes on this in the near future. None of it in our (working class) favor, of course.

Unfortunately, the Government wants to do away with the constitution. This is why it is important to support the EFF, ACLU, and others in order to protect the constitution.
