Correction, you guys started talking about partisan crap when I was talking about current administration, which is whatever party it happens to be, and changes as the years go by. I don't believe I've posted as an AC since I created my account years ago, but maybe you were arguing against yourself as an AC.

Seems like an organization controlled by the current executive party administration, which has been given extreme anti-liberty wartime powers, and has proven to be incompetent and more inclined to go after intellectual property violations, would be a great organization to control elections. Thumbs up!

You have to understand that when a judge issues a constitutionally sound warrant and execution order, the police are obligated to serve it. They have no choice in the matter to leave her alone because she's a nice lady who shoots at cops. They have to take her in at that point under order from the judge.

  17. I think you're confusing what racist means, but that's understandable if you listen to the mainstream media. Racism is institutional use of race to limit certain demographics access or equal treatment under the law. Bigotry is thinking ill of a person based on stereotypes. Prejudice is judging a person before you actually observe the behavior you're judging. None of those apply when trying to diversify.

Nuance is often lost on the masses, give or take an M. As stated, the advice helped get her killed. Not killed her, but helped get her killed. Obviously the police killed her AFTER SHE SHOT AT THEM WITH A 12 GAUGE. That's completely 100% justifiable. However, if she hadn't gotten terrible advice maybe she would have given up. They should have blocked incoming comments on her page, not her ability to post.

I'm guessing it is a point-of-billing tax. Kind of like how Amazon taxes purchases directly at checkout in some states and not others. If it were done on your income taxes yearly, that would be easy to circumvent as you mentioned.

  23. People seem to decry the concept of a person being hired despite being seemingly less qualified than a white male. To a company that thrives on ideas the diversity is actually key, and can benefit a corporation more than having a large group of cookie-cutter people who have all had nearly identical life experiences and all come from very similar culture. This is an example of the parts being less valuable than the sum.

  24. Any word on how it works on a Mac with bootcamp? I did the update earlier and am concerned about the OSX side. I don't really have resources to fix something like this while deployed. I'm primarily using the Windows boot anyway for Steam (I am Setsuna!), but don't want to lose my Mac interface completely for the next 5+ months.
